No 5g connectivity.. even 4g is only in peek network areas..
Also fluctuating 2g/3g..
Camera also below par quality..
Only worth battery capacity..
Also can't unlock bootloader to install costom rom

I was using this device since from the beginning of 2024, 2 days ago, a Pink line was appeared on display when I was just watching the YouTube, i did a pixel fixer test for whole night, next day i plugged it for charging and after 2 hours it was disappeared. Yesterday it was emerged again, I've tried many Pixel fixer tests but no progress.
I always used this device with extreme care by using front gorilla protector , back hydrogel paper and a pouch. Didn't drop neither a single scratch reduces it's shine and glammer.
I've swapped this device with Pixel 4a 5G and some users warned me about display issues.
This is disgusting and even irritating, don't want to change it as it is near to my heart. Sony is just nominally Japanese but infact chinese in quality and standards.

Just don't buy It it isn't worth it in 2024.

Is anyone having issues with their NFC not working on this model? Are there any ways to fix it aside from sending it away, as it seems to be a software issue according to forum posts on Reddit, XDA etc

Pink vertical line just appeared in the middle of the screen. Just browsing internet, not dropped. Phone is just 3 years old. Is it true that sony used Sansung s20 screen panel for this model? Original screen cost 350 euro. No point of repairing.

Phone didn... moreI don't understand what are you talking, green lines is hardware issue, because your screen has bad quality control from samsung. somethings is from outside, sony or you can not handle it.

I got 6 green lines in my 5 Mark 2, tried factory reset and still the lines remain. Phone didn't take any physical damage and still looks like a new device. It's completely software based issue!

ibrahim , 30 May 2024is it worth getting in 2024? i found it for around 110$Depending on your usage, the battery will drain faster, compared to modern devices. I cannot get more than 4 hours of screen on time, regardless of what I do. The display is still beyond and above most modern phones, so is the audio experience (bt and speakers). The cameras are hit and miss, but they have improved over time because even though software support has stopped on Android 12, the camera apps are updated as stand alone software. Even the front facing camera is miles better than what it was at the beginning. If it had better battery life, I would have zero issues using it on a daily basis. Also, get a third party 30W charger. I have managed to get it to charge up to 30W and i get a full charge in about 1h30m.
