I wonder what the weight distribution will be like... If you hold the phone too low then it will see-saw flipflop out of your hand... Meaning you might have to constantly be gripping to stop it tilting over... or hold the phone in exactly the centre which would preclude 1-handed full screen use.
Kinda worried about the ergonomics now...

Their mistakes and subsequent suffering immediately lead... moreSure, while there's a point you made, but still, XZ2 series almost led Sony Xperia into identity crisis, especially the design and that's where Sony fans are dividing into pieces, and almost managed never to recovered due this. If XZ1 design were kept with much modern design or at least going back to Xperia Z-design like Xperia 1/5/8/10/10+, I'll bet the loss was evitable...
You should aware that boxy-design of Xperia was giving Sony biggest identification identity since the breakup from Ericsson, especially during Z, Z3 and XZ Premium era. Sure, XZ2 series have identity of past Sony Ericsson days, but XZ2 design didn't successfully combined modern and traditional design simultaneously, which let's enraged in Xperia Community, resulting a fatal crash sales and shipments into the 2010 Xperia days...

Don't understand why people are bitching about the design of Xz2, Xz2 premium and XZ3 they both introduced Qi charging and Sony ruined it by taking that away compared to their rivals who kept the Qi charging they took that away and the side button looks. Like. It can wear and tear that extremely annoying The no headphone jack is still a good choice why spend thousands of dollars and want a cheap headphone jack it's 2020 by wireless headsets or earpuds

Their mistakes and subsequent suffering immediately leading to excellent choices, making them totally unique in the market and given them a chance to have explosive sales this coming generation when new technologies in connectivity finally arrive. Sony mobile will be saved if they keep good design by the times of graphene batteries.

So bad, that Sony CEO has done anything to cover the damage done by XZ2 series in 2019 by reviving +- 70% iconic Xperia components like boxy-design from Z series, side FPS with a twist, bringing back the purple and blue color, etc... Notches and punch-holes could make everything on Sony Mobile ever bleaker, just saying...

It has DDR5 ram, while 1 and 5 use ddr4x.
It has 12MP 1/1.7" , while 1 and 5 use 1/2.6".
Finger scanner is not same used by 1. New type.

Except Battery Size They Increase.
No Camera Upgrade
No Storage Upgrade
And No Ram Upgrade.
I Don't Why Sony is Too Slow to Make Batter Phones.
They Never Advertise
They Never Pay For Advertising
And They Never Promote There Mobile Platform. They Should Make Hifi Phones and they should also focus on its Marketing.

The details of this phone are likely not accurate. It's suspected that Sony will announce 3 phones at MWC 2020 on February 24. One will likely be this flagship with a snapdragon 865.
I hope that the flagship is not 4K+, as the price premium will already put it far out of decent sales numbers.
I'm still concerned that the image processing will be bad, 3 years behind other brands with crashing software - as it has been for Sony flagships for the last 3 years.

Anonymous, 23 Jan 2020So why do Samsung, Apple and Huawei currently reside at the top of smartphone sales, if everyo... moreBecause , I don't know how it is in your country but in mine when you enter a store you see a GALAXY stand with all samsung phones, then a HUAWEI stand with all huawei phones, then the rest of the store is a big Apple store like, with iphones, macs etc. they don't show the other brands you have to go and ask for the phone you want to buy so they take it from the stocks behind the store....
and no, 99% don't do that, buy what they see, Xiaomi being 4th smartphone reseller because China/India

When you pay enough to make sure your name is the only one people see, you become the only name people know and buy. Case in point, people that see my Xperia phones often ask me "Which iPhone is that?" or "Which Galaxy is that?". They don't know of any other brands anymore.

Samsung is so popular among poor people. No matter what they bring.
Apple is treated like a Cult.
Chinese people will always choose local brand over foreign.
Since iphone X, sales of iphones are decreasing.
