Don't ever trust statements like "Water proof up to 1 meter and 30 minutes". I bricked mine completely in 5 minutes, 20 cm underwater. The obvious cause is that USB cap is not as hermetic as it is supposed to be, however, you won't be able prove that it was closed at all when you get it to repair.

Hey there! I love the phone but the sad thing is the non-removable battery... What if the battery gets faulty it mean the phone is dead right?

I bought it. The Phone is stunning, Walkman app and sound is BANGIN (u got many corrections and on)
Capture quality is excellent.Wireless is very very fast, surfing is very fast too.
I got 1 Issue and question to other owners, WHAT ABOUT Power Button i think my power button is gettin soft and sinked into the pannel a little ?

Is it okay if I use my Xperia Acro S while swimming on a pool? I have second thought yesterday if it won't get stuck/damaged if ever i'll dip it for more than 1 meter. :/ #OC

And 1 more thing, acro s over xperia V. I suggest acro s, when it comes to durability and battery life and usage.
Xperia acro s has a camera shutter key thats one of the reason why I chose this phone over xpV. XPV has no camera shutter key and no hdmi i think? Correct me if im wrong. And battery power of around 1700mah over 1950mah? The one thing I like about xperia V its a handy and has a replaceable battery. :)

I think it depends on what kind of user are you? Im using my xperia acros for about 4 months, so far its good! The only problem with this phone is battery life. If you're a gamer, I think this phone is not for you. 4-6 hrs of gaming drains your battery fast. I think thats the problem of previous xperia phones. But overall. Its a good a built durable,a bit handy and water resistant. I tested it in more than 1meter maybe about 4 ft. Still working. For its price range, its good enough.But if you're expecting more . Try their new released xperia zed phones, like xp Z,Zr,Z ultra or looking forward for the xperia Z1f. Btw, btw overheat is very natural in android phones but check the phone temperature. Im using screen protector and a nilkin case for my lt26w so that its not a bit bulky and still fits to my shirt's pocket. :)
