SONY uses corning gorilla glass on their Bravia 3d LED hdtv sets only. They perhaps use dragontraill glass on certain models of their mobile devices.

They hammered it,throw a big rock (almost 3x the size & weight to d active),a wrench,a screw driver to drill it onto the glass.. And the result, nothing happened.. The glass is as good as new,the UI itself also act as good as new..

i dont see why people are complaining about this having a s3 processor. if sony put in a s4 krait, the price would go up. and even if it's not fast enough for you, go to xda and get an overclock kernel.

Ip57 means its dust and water proof only it tells the level. . 5 stands for dust and 7 stands for water resistance... Active and this has same level of water resistance... Only difference is dust rating. . It can bare some pressure until you put much pressure on it.. This is acceptable for a high end model. . .

After long time comparing to buy my first android smartphone, I decided to go for a Sony Xperia line finally. I owned Xperia S for two weeks and I must say I'm a satisfied user of it!
Xperia S is so nice, has a solid good in hand feels, very smooth operation and reliable. And now Xperia acro S is coming out...pheeew! I'm really exciting with its specifications especially the new features (water and dust resistant as well as micro SD card possibility).
The design is also sleek and I wonder whether this is an unibody one. The bottom strip is missing here, but I think this is good because it has a new accent and makes it different with the Xperia S.
I will definitely consider this if I have not bought my Xperia S but well I couldn't wait until Q3 to own my first android phone!

Xperia Arco S is not IP67, it is IP55 and IP57. So its water and dust resistance not good as Xperia Active and Xperia Go which is IP67.

SONY please get rid of the ericsson logo !!! just "SONY" is enough !!! all of us want xperias to be a shrunken version of bravia TVs !!! we don't want that green round pimple on our xperias !!!

It's a good phone, but the transparent bottom stripe is missed. Otherwise it would be great . Sony is learning fast and doing it very well.

Why sony does not use krait processor in its phones?!why not amoled display?i love sony and i remember the days when sony was monster of technology.these days sony thinks that people will buy its products because of sony brand!yes this phone and other sony NXT phones are better than infamous sonyericsson phones but sony you should be faster!
