Actually all smartphone gets hot when in use. before you open another application check your phone if there are running applications on your system. because most of the time we tend to forget to close the application properly that makes the phone hot and the battery easily gets drain. when my phone gets hot i always wash with running water just to cool it down. and you know what.... it is effective. try it!!!

guys..i got a sony acro s today ..but every time i use it for more than 20 minutes it becomes hot from the back..
is that normal or should i return it??

My handset is heating too much, the temperature reaches to 47C when I play games like temple run or run a video for 15 to 20 min. Is this normal to all of you or some kind of problem in my handset, plz reply. I think this happend after I updated my handset to 2.55 build numder, plz reply fast.

i guess sometimes its not the unit that has the problem.. sometimes its the user.. we tend to overuse phone that we have just to satisfy our needs. and i cannot blame you guys for doing that. but like us they have their limitations that we sometimes forget. there are applications that this phone or not just this phone but any other phone that not compatible with the system that we want to add. that made it risky to the unit. lets just try to use the phone to its very best. know what are the dos and donts of the unit. I'm proud to say that i have this phone since last year but never encounter major problems with the unit. i tested it in pool to take photos and videos and its great!
