sorry but I did not get what you are trying to say...
case 1:
Are you trying to update your phone software Via OTA(over The Air)and can't get it updated?Is that what you are trying to say?..If that's your problem, and you can browse the internet using mobile data on your browser try to check this...
settings> about phpone>software update>press the capacitive menu button>settings>network settings and check if via mobile network/WIFI is ticked.
case 2:
If you are trying to tell me that you can not update your phone software via wifi or mobile data because the phone says that there are no updates for your phone, maybe you are updated to the latest version which is 6.1.a.2.55, if not then check you phone SI number, If your phone is from hongkong you have to flash a different FW version from another country/region.

AnonD-123520, 14 Mar 2013how to use mobile data in acro s,i turn on data in settings but cant open any site help me..try this..settings>more>mobile networks>access point names>press menu on the rights side of the home capacitive button>new APN>Enter your access point name on the NAME field>Enter "internet" on the APN field>leave the rest of the fields blank>press menu key>click save..

ill wait for the official jellybean update then back up my stuff and root it.... moreJelly Bean update will be rolling out this april I guess..Here's a easy step how to root up to .55 build number. You must be at .45 build version or .50 to root .55, Because you can not root .55 directly.
1)download the binary root method(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460)
2)root your phone(http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7EpkrCq1gfM)
3)update your phone to .55 via OTA.
Tip battery life if much much better on .55 using the stock sony launcher.

ill wait for the official jellybean update then back up my stuff and root it. wont install the custom rom coz i might brick/mess up my phone
Sony said they'll release the official update this quarter/month right?
hope Sony's jellybean update will maximize the phones performance and resolve the issues from ICS
by the way
Just wanna share my thoughts about this phone,
I really love It, I even tortured it a bit to check its built quality and its very durable. don’t mind if the chip is dual core s3, built is kinda bulky or the specs are way far from the latest Sony phones. (Z, TX, V etc) as long as it does its job and entertains me if im kinda bored its fine with me

This IS really a good Phone. Just Bought It 5 days ago and it went well. The battery life was average but you can see its display was very good and the camera was excellent. Gaming was re defined probably due to its dual core processor. I can brag to my friends That I can watch videos while on the shower ^_^

is it a good idea if i root my new acro s or see and wait for... moreIt is better to wait for the official jellybean,..Don't install custom roms on your phone since most of the CFW available for acro s are buggy..Unlocking the BL will also void your warranty, Relocking it to regain warranty will not return the lost DRM keys. It's not a very good idea to install a unstable rom, specially when you do not know what you are doing you can brick your device. If you want to use a cool ui there are a lot of launchers in the market. Acro s is not a very popular device that's why I am encouraging people here to vote for acro s. The more popular it is the more developers/hobbyist will support it, that implies, more Custom rom,more chances of bugless rom and a great rom.
I suggest that you start by rooting and don't proceed on unlocking the BL. Just wait for the official jelly bean. Actually you don't actually need a custom rom what is important is that you are rooted.
