Anonymous, 07 Aug 2013It depends on your android version..4.1.2 can never... But 4.2.2 can move to sd card..Mr. anonymous u r 100% sure about it that all apps move to sd card in Jelly Bean (4.2.2)plllllllllllz reply
only negative point i can find is no gyro sensor which is present in grand and people stop complaining about chipset or memory because grand's broadcom chipset hangs a lot whereas the same (mediatek) chipset used in canvas 3 doesn't hang at all.. those who are complaining about memory are probably using a smartphone for the first time because we can transfer the major part of any app on the memory card and a minor part goes on the internal (even if it doesn't we can root and make it do) also we now have methods to convert the space on external memory to internal memory...
Do not go for any of the versions of Samsung since couple of my freinds bought Grand 2 months ago, 1 had a problem in mother board and got it changed and the other had a hardware issue....When I entered the Service center it was packed with customers and most of them were carrying all the latest samsung piece...Instead if you wanna go then go fir HTC or Sony... or any other but not Samsung, although it might be cheaper but not worth...Sony experia C seems quite interesting considering its Quad core processor and 1GB Ram...and considering the questions quite of you have raised regarding moving the stuff from phone memory to SD...it is very much possible in any cell phone...you just need to download the software - "Apps to SD" from Play store...I am looking for a new phone but had a bad experince of Samsung and even the dealer suggested me to change the brand...I am looking for this or either any HTC piece...but definately not Samsung....Only few samsung pieces are good...S3 and Note1 or Note2...but they cost too much more than 25k...so Experia C seems quite good...low in cost and also good in specifications....
Will they be launching a single sim version too.. N is its chipset not good? I dont know much about it so plz somebody tell me why..
how can u say it doesnt have play store n cant move apps to sd card while this mobile is not even seen by any 1 ov you because it is not available anywhere... 2nd version of this ph is released 4 Asia n others, 1st version was for China only.... it will take sum time to come in asian n middle east markets
it's just 4gb at this point of time where even 8gb seems to be less.... to remind u all
AnonD-171681, 06 Aug 2013But there is no way to move my apps to SD card(phone memory is 4 GB and 2.3GB available to use... moreIt depends on your android version..4.1.2 can never...

AnonD-172666, 05 Aug 2013Perfect example of a company losing the opportunity to capture a market segment despite having... moreThe official price is 16k, cant be such a bad deal for a mtk chip packed inside a sony device, still better than your canvas 4 & all other loser brands which over the same chip in more or less the same price & with lesser quality & reliability, not to forget with the shtiest camera's & resale value! This even beats the grand offering actually more at a lesser price from a reputed brand...way to go..best budget phablet ever!!!
Dying to have this phone launched i believe its 30th sep for india..havent used a sony phone in ages & this actually compliments my needs ( 5 inch, dual sim, 1gb ram etc)..in the meanwhile im stuck with a grand :((
Fraser Sequeira, 05 Aug 2013Guys ....the phone looks good. I would just have one issue before buying this phone. It comes ... moreQuattro would not be a couple of thousand bucks extra but lesser..my advice to go for grand instead of this if the mtk chipset is such a concern..anyways this ofers only 4 point mulitouch which shows its a no deal for a 5 incher
Perfect example of a company losing the opportunity to capture a market segment despite having a product to do so! Kudos to Samsung for successfully doing this with the Grand some time back. Sony INDIA dealers expect release at Oct end/Nov'13 at a price of >19K. This makes me wonder, is Sony even listening? GSMARENA is the leading global mobile review site, and to not react nor respond to the pulse of the market is just lame.
