waiting for the price to be release...
hope it will be under ₹16,000...
it will be my next phone...
yes, snapdragon can play any game smoothly.
And it also supports LTE. Mediatek is for new users who want to try android.
everythings is good but only internal memory should be at least 8 GB
Anonymous, 28 Jun 2013I don't use Galaxy Grand, but I admitted it works smooth.
I guess Xperia C target market are ... moreGuys this phone is good, the only disadvantage is the lack of Corning Gorilla Glass... Am using a GiONEE Dream D1 with the same spec with this phone. The only difference is that My GiONEE Dream D1 has Corning Gorilla Glass2 and uses a super AMOLED Plus screen and 4.65 inch screen because I don't like phone of 5inch and above. My GiONEE Dream D1 has the same 4GB internal memory but guess what?
I play all the HD games that I like with no lags ranging from
1. Asphalt 7
2. Real Racing 3
3. Wild Blood
4. Shadow Gun
5. Splinter Cell Conviction

AnonD-43136, 29 Jun 2013Always stick with snapdragon! Reliable and hd gaming even from as low as adreno 205! Media tec... moreactually Adreno 225 and adreno 305 are almost same in performance.. adreno 305 is 5 % better than 225 , check gfxbench 2.7 . difference between 225 and 305 is hardly anything..
adreno 220 = power vr in mediatek 6589 = adreno 302( guess)
adreno 225 = adreno 305..
But since xperia t has a higher resolution than xperia l /m .. it reduces its gaming performance .. so xperia l is around 50 % faster than xperia t in gaming due to its low resolution
ok to clear everyones confusion.. this is a competitor to galaxy grand / mmx a116 etc... the cpu is faster than snapdragon 200 ( galaxy grand quattro/win)..
those confusing with xperia l and m .. Xperia l/m are faster than this both in terms of cpu and gpu.. if you ant 5 inch screen go for this if you want 4-4.3 go for xperia m and l.. in benchmarks you might see a higher score for this mediatek cpu than 1 ghz dual krait.. but in reality it will not be that fast as there are hardly any apps that utilizes full quad core capacity.. these quad runs at only 70 % or less capacity in general .. 1 gh dual krait can easily beat it in single threaded performance with twice the gap.. this is just for those who are want 5 inch screens
AIR, 28 Jun 2013Anyway what should I buy?? I'm very confused between xperia C and xperia L.. Xperia C good i... moreAlways stick with snapdragon! Reliable and hd gaming even from as low as adreno 205! Media tech etc are budget! Xperia sp is an awsome gamer with adreno 320 which beats adreno 305 in xperia l! I got xperia T with adreno 225 which is faster than 305. Just google it!:-)
For 15k this would sell like hot dosas in India :D, Sony has a real market for people who have fed-up with Micromax & Lava Xolos unreliability. A well tailored and economic MTK Processor and Chipset. Thank You Sony Team.
I don't use Galaxy Grand, but I admitted it works smooth.
I guess Xperia C target market are on the same segment like Galaxy Grand.
BroadComm vs MediaTek vs Snapdragon (Xperia L/SP)
Anyone using MicroMax A116?
It has same chipset MediaTek MT6589 like Xperia C
AnonD-55709, 25 Jun 2013Mediatek processor and only 4gb internal memory.
The features are similar to micromax canvas ... morewell you said others single core cpu is better than mediatek 6589 quad core cpu,can it run game like real racing 3?
because i know mediatek 6589 phone base can running that game almost smoothly
AnonD-115286, 28 Jun 2013Sony should have make it an LTE enabled device, battery should also be bigger as well, though ... moremtk 6589 does not support lte network, anyway mediatek will be produce new quad core 65xx support for lte, maybe sony would like to wait for this, but xperia c will be late come to market and will be uprising the price to
