And my touch screen problems started at 6th month. Even if you send it to support it is not fixed. And I am from Turkey. How is that? It is same all over the world I suppose. The touch screen problem reaches unbelievale levels if phone is slightly heat up. I warn you! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE and sony support is very bad in Turkey/Istanbul too.

I had this phone and the only proplem found in it is heating expect that the phone camera is amazing alongside the battery life and touch screen responses very well actually
If you had any issue in touch screen switch your phone to the gloves mood
Although i'm sure half the comments here are paid

I have purchased xperia c4 but after 8 month it touch has started malfunctions. It shown to service center and touch replaced free of cost. It is questions marks to failure of touch very soon of such branded phone.

I bought a sonyc4 model January 2016, everything was alright till the 8th month of the phone. I started having touch screen issues. I brought the unit to Sony service center makati first but they told me it would be quicker if I sent the phone to Sony pasig. With that I brought the phone in pasig and they diagnosed the phone to be having ghost touch screen/touch screen malfunction. Luckily my phone is still on a 1 year service and parts warranty. And luckily the necessary parts are available at the service center (some we're not lucky because they have to wait for a month or two before the parts arrive). Indeed, my phone got fixed but for how long will it be OK??? Im saying this because on the day I received my phone, there was this customer who only had his c4 for 5 months then tochscreen malfunction, sent to Sony pasig for repair, then after 2 months touchscreen malfunction once again. Also out of 10 supposed customers who went to the service center for phone repair almost 7 of which possess a c4 model. My point is, Sony should recall all c4 models and replace it with other model handsets. It's not OK for us customers to think that anytime out phone may breakdown .

James, 15 Aug 2016I bought a Sony Experia C4 and used it for one month after which I started having problems wit... moreif the camera is not working it is probably due to some app using the camera or microphone in background. figure out which apps have permissions and try to disable them and then try. you could also go to google settings and see if the OK google is enabled in the background. having the ok google phrase enabled in the background might stop your camera from working since i t could claim it is already in use due to the microphone. hope this helps; cheers!

so far so good when I update my sony c4 to 5.1 , i think it depends on how you update it there many things to consider to have errors and problems after updating the unit.

since 5.1 update touchscreen problems, dont update to 5.1 remain on 5.0, using custom room fixed problem

About one in four calls, I can hear the caller but the caller can't hear me. Problem persists until the phone is rebooted. (Fortunately it reboots fast.)
Hands free randomly turns off during call, usually when screen sleeps.
Answering machine app freezes the device from viewing or making calls and texts for 2-5 minutes after taking a message.
Other than that, it's OK. I don't dare update the software in case it makes it worse instead of better.

this phone is piece of crap. switch offs automatically and will not start till you connect it to the charger. severe touch problem. Touch at some point of display and it gets automatically pressed on other parts of screen. evan can't unlock the phone. 1 cm of display at lower side is unresponsive to touch. Don't buy sony phones.

I bought a Sony Experia C4 and used it for one month after which I started having problems with the camera. Whenever I tried opening the camera application it couldn't. Instead it showed that the camera or flashlight was in use by another application (which was not the case). I honesty though sony products are genuine and quality but I was proved wrong by that awful experience. I ran at a loss by this phone.

Sony also promised about updating this device to Android 6 and skip Android 5.1 but now it is in Android 5.1 and it seems that they do not update for this device anymore. They do not tell anything about touching issue. They ignore consumers. Do not buy any Sony products. I also understand why my friends and people in my country stop buying Android Sony phones. They made it very bad with over prices but warranty is very worst.

If there is any touch problem, thats because a software bug, I have also faced to touch problem, so after that I put my phone to safe mood,still I didn't got any touch issues.. Try it guys!update with android marshmallow bugs fixed.. Still not yet released, This phone is good device, I can satisfied with c4..

sony xperia c4, one of the worst phone ive ever had, same problem with the others, overheating, touch screen dont work, fast draining battery. what the heck. . . im so disappointed with this. . .
