AnonD-479655, 23 Dec 2015I purchased the C5 ultra a week ago and here are my comments: 1) not all android OS are create... moreno airplane mode ? LOL try looking bit harder ;) there is ''airplane mode'' in every android device and also in C5 ultra if there is no icon in usual place than go in quick settings and click on small pen next to battery lvl percentage and settings icon .there you can add and remove or rearrange icons for quick settings.
AnonD-479655, 23 Dec 2015I purchased the C5 ultra a week ago and here are my comments: 1) not all android OS are create... morec5 ultra and all sony phones e4,e4g,m2(lowest priced) have-1.haptic feedback.2.airplane mode.
you don't know how to activate these man.in the quick settings toggle there is airplane mode.its there.just edit what you want in the quick settings toggle by touching the edit icon.c5 ultra has haptic feedback on touch.its in settings where you can check whether to vibrate on touch.
regards battery-turn on stamina mode for battery.all you said is pure lie or you don't know anything.my c5 gives me 1.5 days and i know how how to use airplane mode and how to turn on haptic feedback.
Abdulla, 22 Dec 2015Yaa iam also same problem its charging to lateSame problem
I purchased the C5 ultra a week ago and here are my comments: 1) not all android OS are created equal. The C5 doesnt have haptic feedback options, has no 'airplane mode' like the Z series, and drains battery life very fast. I have to download 3rd party apps to reduce the drainage rate.
The front camera is super clear, so that's good for selfies, wefies, etc. Screen is large, another good point.
But I don't know why they must scrimp on the Android O/S by taking out some important but basic functions or hiding them under sub-menus. Guess it comes with the cheaper price compared to the Xperia Z series.
Moral of the story: if you want the full-fledged OS, go for Xperia Z5. If you want large screen with clear front camera, go for C5, but beware of its drawbacks.
Should i update my phone to its latest version of firmware cause i find no problem right now with the current version no battery issues etc.
Decided to buy this phone a week ago after reading several reviews. As i have experienced the battery life is good, camera is excellent and performance as well. I have never encountered issues. To prolong the battery i have stopped several applications on the back ground such as Viber, Yahoo messenger or any messenger when doing some gaming. Dismiss unused application in the Task. Turn off the data when not in use and lower my screen resolution when using indoors. Overall i like the performance of this phone and it doesn't feel like a midranger

Tried a lot of different chargers with varied amp setups and it kept depleting so fast and charging so slow. two days ago I charged it sith a Motorola fast charger with 2.1 amp and I'm writing this commit with my c5 as of 36 hours of no charge period and with still 66% battery in it. I was so disappointed but found out that the main concern is the charger it comes to begin with. I'm sure the Sony branded fast charger can do the same trick. Also it got charged from 0 to 100 in about 2 hours!! Cheers
When I tried to move heavy games such as NOVA 3, it only moves the apk file but the obb file remains in the internal storage only. Anyone faces this problem or is that because of my sd card.

Xenon, 16 Dec 2015Sorry but it last at most about 3h and a half to be exact. Im a heavy user so may i ask whethe... moreBro that's plenty of gaming on such big screen I don't know what you people expect how long battery to last while gaming? I used many phones and there are flagships that I can drain in less than 3h easily (depending on the game and brightens) only things that can last for longer period of time are tablets with huge batteries inside and some devices are good with battery life like Sony xperia Z2,Z3, LG G3, Samsung S5 (all with 801 chipset/1080p display and big batteries) and all xperia compact versions Z1c,Z3c,Z5c because they have small resolution screen which not only drains less battery but also puts less load on chipset and graphic ...
YES Marshmallow will probably help improve battery life a lot but don't expect to much from it!
I suggest again to everybody who uses any xperia device to enable ''Extended usage'' in STAMINA settings . This will put only restrictions on CPU and GPU and prolong your battery life a lot because you don't need all that power when going trough simple tasks.
I use that setting all the time and never experienced reduce in performance(even when gaming) and if you do notice any reduce in performance simply turn it off again.
