One thing is for sure that u get more battery backup on kitkat than lollipop. In using as well as in idle/standby time. Maybe it is possible with new phones that comes with new hardware, the scenario is different. But many users are also complaining about battery backup in lollipop.
Maddy India, 15 Dec 2015I am afraid that unfortunately you can not do that with C5 ultra. Because C5 ultra comes with ... morewhat??is everything ok whit your mind?you going around and suggesting people to buy older phones.that's crazy man anyway lollipop is not that bad on 5.1.1. and update 6.0 marshmallow will come soon on C5... I don't have ZR so it could be true that battery really socks on that one but that's old phone could be also battery issue?you ever replaced the battery?since I still have xperia Z(similar to ZR) and no battery drainage on lollipop 5.1.1. but i rarely putting it in use since it has connection problems in my country not all the bands are supported :(

Because C5 ultra comes with base version Android Lollipop 5.0. So there is NO Kitkat version available for C5 ultra. I have ZR now and I also fed up of this shitty lollipop huge battery drain even in Stamina mode also. I also decided to buy C5 ultra but not bought due to this base version. Go and buy some other phone which has at-least Kitkat 4.4.4 as a base version.

tushu, 13 Dec 2015thanks bro. thanks for giving ur valueble time to me,
i m going to buy this today.
i just wa... moreto be honest never measured those things and it's not easy to answer since it depends on the charger you will be using 1A, 1.5A or 2A... I think for 2A charger something more than 2 hours.
but what kind of charger you will get i don't know since what you have in the box it depends on the region and type of charger is not the same for every region....anyway phones rarely comes with 2A chargers(more often with 1A) but you can buy those 2A adapters cheaply for 5 to 10 $ (at least something that Chinese products are good for hehe xD) you don't need best quality adapter and only part that goes in wall socket without the cable!
example : http://prntscr.com/9dwnqf
I marked on next 2 images where is the info about the output of the charger:
your charger may be sufficient for you so try it out because original one is always better...

Got problem with my c5 too :( but i don't wa... moreyou can't do it on C5 because it's running 5.0 out of the box and android 6.0 marshmallow is coming soon anyway. but if you have problems with battery just use extended usage in stamina settings and battery life is gonna probably to double and that setting doesn't restrict anything besides CPU because you don't need all that power when going simply trough system interface, messaging or browsing the web.
Hey! i really liked it..but the problem is with the battery holy heck only 2930 mah?!?!?!?!? WTF man...and about design its amazing! good luck!

Got problem with my c5 too :( but i don't want to take my own risk to downgrade it with my own coz i dunno how to do that.
Please help my sir thank you :)
tushu, 12 Dec 2015thanks bro. for suggesting me. but earlher today i went to the store and 1stly i checked xper... moreI'm glad you like C5 I said it's a beauty and also told you that rear camera is only decent and front one is better because it has 22 mm wide-angle lens so it's not everything about megapixels!there is also big difference between Superior auto and manual mode...
problems you encountered with rear camera are probably those: indoor photos to appear darker than they should and some noise in low light. you can adjust white balance trough slider in settings and light the photos. In manual settings you have those scene selection for example night scene or night portrait helps a lot to eliminate digital noise.also lower to 8mp when making shots in low light. when i shoved my friends what they can do in manual mode they never gone back to auto. That's it about the rear camera on C5 it can produce a decent results but it will never stand out. If you want both good cameras on mid range device check Xperia M5 it's similar device nice and sleek with a lot better hardware inside.
About the heating well this is gonna be longer replay but I will take my time to explain how things work.
There is difference between heating up and overheating so far I used many android devices mostly Sony,Samsung,HTC,LG and never had in my hand device that doesn't heat up and drain battery when gaming and using certain camera modes like those faces and portrait stuff,AR fun and 4K of course.
How much heat you will feel from device depends on chipset implementation and device build(if device is thick like HTC less heat you will feel from it,if device body is made of metal or glass it will become warm quickly but glass also helps to cool down faster then any other material)...
....and even when you don't feel it heat is there! check with cpu-z or some other app,Clean Master also is nice app that will warn you when cpu starts to heat up...but everything is ok! if there is no force closing apps , random crashes or frame rate drop in games you are good.
don't believe usual boolshit you can come across the internet that for example Mediatek does not heat up compared to Qualcomm or other way around....
there is no need to worry about the heat when using your phone(I never do it's not like is going to melt in your hand or burn it xD) if it overheats it's gonna simply close the app that causes heating until cools down but that rarely happens because it needs to be something really heavy like certain camera modes and that 4k , but never in gaming I can drain whole battery from 80% to 5% (playing Real Racing 3,Asphalt 8,Modern Combat 5) and it's not gonna close the game because of heat...
