DO NOT GET THIS PHONE !!! worse phone iv ever had , got it as a present for my birthday and all i want to do is get another phone . Consently crashing and freezing fort it would be because of any dodgy apps so i deleted everything but it still crashes! Also i put it on charge last night woke up it wouldnt switch on so i took battery out n put it back it , to find it does work yet it only had 53% battery . what aload of crap this phone is !!! DO NOT GET THIS PHONE

for restarting pblm go to Sony service centre and register complain see what they have to say

restarting pblm is not because of software or ram the reason is its battery is slightly loss so when ever phone take a jerk it get restart to over come this u can put a small piece of paper to tight and it will do the magic it is a temporary solution let see what sony going to do about this design fault expect this the over all performance is petty good camera performance is batter than many other 5mp cam in this range

Turn off all vibrations. And include all 3rd party apps on exceptions on "stamina mode"
Seems to work for me... more than 2 days without restarting itself. Gud luck

AnonD-257069, 03 Jun 2014dude this xperia e1 is not a high-end phone.... its only a mid-range phone.... use your brain ... moredude,it is 2014 and much good phones are available at same price,second thing check sony website specs,what are they offering and what are they give.

Ram, 12 Jun 2014Nokia lumia 520 is far far batter then e1 as for 520 is more frist and not in lagdroid ..Well yes of course Lumia 520 far better than E1 .... if it didn't have any mysterious "other storage" memory issue.

karna, 11 Jun 2014guys, this is my 1st smartphone, can u tell me how to move apps/songs/photos to sd card from p... moreTo move the music,photos,videos and other files from internal storage to your sd card just go to the settings>storage>then go to the bottom, click transfer files to sd card.
With the battery, you might want to install some 3rd party battery saver apps that can help you managing your running apps. If you're still not satisfied go to the settings again >power management and select the stamina mode.
Most of the tweaks are on the settings, enjoy tweaking.

also i think something's wrong with the battery. I put my phone in my pocket with 75% battery left, and 10 min later it was 72%. I dont think that 1700 mah batteries are suppossed to give such performance

I got this phone almost a month ago but its quite decent for me with its price to be honest. It has a good sound output as expected, the display is nice and as well as the camera (actually doing good for 3mp). The most interesting with this is the battery. The stamina mode is just awesome and just install those free 3rd party battery saver to make it superb. Yes I had some lagging and auto restarting issue on this phone before but after I updated the latest firmware and apps on settings I occassionally experienced those. What I can advise is don't do multi tasking especially if you're doing internet/game stuff because it's not designed for that. And please always consider the price before you complain about the product. Remember this, you can always buy the greatest phone in the world, just make sure you got the money and the willingness to spend for it.
