BIG V, 10 Nov 2012WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR Xperia GO to ICS....stay with GB for the time being.... ... moreHave a factory reset after the upgrade to ICS. It resolved the issues on lags and sluggishness.
I bought a Xperia GO & have tried it throwing in swimming pool, hold it under the tap , it is water resist, tried to scratch it with a pin on the Glass , but nothing happened , This Phone is awesome & pics are simply great can even capture water splashing with crystal clear , simply supereb :) cheers i wish it had front cam too
i have washed it , diped in glass of water & given demo infornt of so many people , I LOVE THIS PHONE
I brought this last week but I am unable to do net surfing as automatic internet setting is not available for any of the network. I have to get manual setting. But then also not working. no option for video calling directly as available like others smartphone. no front camera which is common in today's smartphone.
ITS BETTER THAT YOU GO FOR SAMSUNG SMARTPHONE WHICH FAR MORE BETTER THEN XPERIA GO AND MUCH CHEAPER THEN SONY SMARTPHONES.
Anonymous, 12 Nov 2012sony xperia go or xperia sola
in my case, i chose go. my reasons are:
-the floating touch thingy in sola is awesome, but i dont really need it
-i love musics. go is louder (if you read the reviews, the loudness in go is good but sola is below average)
-i'm a rough user. i dropped my phone in a bucket of water once, so i buy this just in case it happens again XD

poiuy, 08 Nov 2012hey guys need your recommendation..should i upgrade my x.go to ics or let it be to gingerbread... moreif you want to update, make sure you format it upon updating or else all problems will arise
Anonymous, 09 Nov 2012hey plz tell me how to upgrd go to ics .....if you dont know how, go to a phone dealer and ask
i just bought this phone a few days ago, and i'm loving it! i haven't really try immersing it into the water though, do not want to risk it. i had mine updated to ICS and it's working just fine, no lag at all. except that i have to get used to how fast the battery goes down (because my previous phone is a candybar one, you see. lol)
one thing the phone seller told me about updating to ICS is that you guys had to format the phone after updating so it doesnt lag. i was scared when he asked if i want him to update for me cause i read complaints about updating to ICS before. but then he said it's fine if i don't want him to update, but after using the phone for a month i'll come back to him asking him to update it for me XD i got scared by that so i just asked him to update lol. it turns out there's no problem with the phone at all ;)

BIG V, 10 Nov 2012WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR Xperia GO to ICS....stay with GB for the time being.... ... moreTotall bullshit m8. I upgraded and have no issues at all. You cannot post reviews like this without considering that maybe its a third party app causing issues.
Do we have option to video call or video chat in this mobile .. please answer some one
luis, 08 Nov 2012I think the Xperia Go is a better deal than the Ray. The Ray is still a Sony Ericsson model so... moreThe Xperia Go is inferior to the Ray in any aspect aside from CPU and being waterproof.
+ The Ray has FAR better screen (both in resolution and PPI)
+ The Ray has better and replaceable battery
+ The Ray has a better 8mp camera
+ The Ray has front facing camera
The dual core of the XGo is almost entirely wasted on this resolution.
The only reason one should go for the Go over the Ray is the ruggedness.
