Important! Need to get new phone very soon.
I want one that isn't massive (aka under 4.45"), but also very very reliable with reasonable battery life (so it lasts at least 30 hours with typical use). I would definitely prefer an Android 4.0. I'd also like panorama, smile detection & face detection on a fairly decent camera. I'd like good music and good sound. I need good mapping and directions. It needs to be fairly smooth loading and fast (doesn't need to be super speedy, but can't be average or slow). I'd love multi-touch. Was thinking about HTC One (X or S) or the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but they're pretty large. Then I thought about Nokia Lumia 800 or 900, but not sure they suit everything I need. I discovered the Sony Xperia - but there's the Go, U, S, P etc. so it's all a bit confusing!
Please could you help me? I am open to all suggestions. Thank you.

ij, 03 Aug 2012it has nthng to do wid ur cell.........ur sim is nt proper!There is a known bug in Xperia Go firmware version 6.0.B.3.162 that of network loss. This has been fixed in the latest firmware version(6.0.B.3.183). Please update your phone to fix this problem.

Simple like that No Need to Pull up the back cover and Remove the BATTERY!

Got hthis fone yesterday n trade in my xperia s. Choose this fone over the rest bcus it function. Eventho xperia s is high end device packed with loads of function eg 12mp, hdmi port n high pixel screen but the heat problem turns me off. Luckily this fone doesnt have any heat related issue so far.

worst display , battery back up ..... HTC one v much much better ....

If its OS is hang, normally I will use the last option is to remove battery, total drain all power by pressing power button for around 5 seconds and then insert back the battery.
This phone its battery cannot be removed. What if its OS is hang, is there a way to hard reset? Or have to go down Sony Service Center to fix it?

awesum clarity wid gr8 music {in earphones}.

iniatially i was worried about the performance but its truly amazed me in every context.unlimited songs and video download fromsony entertainment,with LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen,Scratch-resistant glass- Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine,OS Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread), planned upgrade to v4.0,Chipset NovaThor U8500,CPU Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9.HTML5, Adobe Flash with HD video playback......cons it has only document viewer no editor,screen resolution is low to save your battery hmm,...if you are too tough to resist then its your gadget....GO for XPERIA GO....

Jick, 30 May 2012Display 3.5 inch and 320 by 480 pixel. Then what is the use of bravia.Bravia is sony's patented technology,its basically a filter with an amplifier in it that enhances the true resolution of the screen and the result is marvellous font diplay and HD videos playback with ease.
