If you like small screens, compact and stylish smart phones then you should go for go. Ray is stylish but can't handle ics update well.

ctdkr, 30 Jul 2012i have bought it last 3 days i am facing problem in downloading applications from google play(... moreThat would be because your network provider sucks. Check with your customer care if you're on gprs or 3g..
Jack, 30 Jul 2012How abt the camera quality? is it good in Xperia GO? Compared to all the other phones with 5MP cameras that I've tried this one's excellent. You can check out sample pictures and videos on youtube. The video quality is actually a lot better than photographs because it supports HD recording.
Android phones require some amount of intelligence from the user or you will end up having problems with the phone. Abi, you'd do better with an iphone.
The xperia go works great. Apart from the fact that its water proof and dust proof its dual core processors ensures smooth performance. You obviously need to keep an eye on your applications, but if you're cautious you wont have any problems and shouldn't worry at all. The camera's excellent, as compared to most other 5MP cameras, and video quality is brilliant.
The battery life is not bad for a smart phone. As with all smart phones, judicious use of apps and services like 3G, gaming, video recording, etc plays a huge role in battery life. The battery is decent - not much better than the other smart phones... Sony does offer a USB power backup though, so you can carry it along and charge your phone while you're traveling.
If the only complaints you have are about battery life, please stick to java phones.
Me again, sony xperia has done a good job. We expect much from a mid range cost phone which is made for water resistance and scratch proof. Its a 8 over 10 for its design, features and performance. I feel its ok with the os at v2.3 gingerbread at least its stable. Will wait for the upgrade notice :)
battery life is very poor...phone hang out in middle & will have to upgrade to 4.0 or the phone sucks
Not sure how many have actually used it but are commenting based on specs ... Here is the real deal.
The issue with it "feeling cheap" due to the rough back cover havent used any power tool or even a screw driver ... the damn thing feels like it is tough ... like the surface of a power tool meant to ensure good grip.
The display : there is the Bravia engine ... makes a biggggg diff.
The only catch i feel is the Camera ... but i feel i'am prejudiced as i had a Satio with a massive 12MP camera & Xenon flash.
And there is IP67 ... check out the test videos ... might change ur mind
