Do not buy this phone...!!!!!! its crap ..... Dont be mislead by the hardware specs ... To get the full out of hardware the software should be on par with that BUT in case of Sony software is the worst... You will regret buying this phone.

its a good fone, the only problem I qm xperiencing z tht the fone refuses to charge normally after the battery hits 0%! apart from tht... WELL DONE SONY!!!

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2013phone works fine after upgrading to jelly bean 4.1.2 but sad thing is cant move apps to sd card.Use app2sd app to move to sd card.Works well for me.

Xperia go's Message on Android v4.1.2 of Sony, sometime don't alert, What happened? What wrong with the source code? Sony program engineering should fix and release minor update for user. Don't let them use like that. :) I hope Sony release new update for Xperia go soon. I really hate the damn slide call stuck for a long while.

The Android version 4.1.2 on Xperia go is stuck in Slide to accepted call. I suggest Sony to change it become button is better than. :)

open the messages then go to definition

AnonD-172965, 06 Aug 2013Ihave a dillema I can't decided between xperia go vs galaxy ace 2 vslg optimus L5-2 witch I choose?Out of the three you named the only one with dual core is this sony. A better question is what do you want your phone to do. If your looking for an electronic companion to keep attached, the Go probably isn't it. For the price though it is a good phone.

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2013I would like to know if anyone has the same happen to them ,I had my Sony xperia go smart phon... moreonly thing I can think of is extreme temperature difference. But if I am not mistaken it would have to be in excess of 70 degrees F, difference on each side of the glass, so for example from internal temp of 105 which is REALLY REALLY hot for a smart phone, it would need to be 30 degrees out side the phone for the glass to shatter.
Alternatively, dropping it lol, j/k i was paying attention^^. Maybe Ultrasonic vibrations but then more than your phone glass would shatter. Perhaps swelling of the phones constructive material due to the excessive heat but honestly all of the above is a serious long shot.

turn off your phone and connect with a pc.... Go to my computer ,and open mobile mass memory then right click on this drive and format mass memory... Discunnect your mobile and turn on... Now your problem solved...no asking for password..sorry for bad english....

Sony make some great TVs, HiFi and portable audio. Their Sony Ericsson conventional candybar phones were great. I bought this phone because of Sony reliability, its neat size and it looked pretty cool. But, this phone is the worst phone I have ever owned. I upgraded it to Android Jelly Bean. Here are the problems:
- does receive calls but does not always ring. The phone has to be rebooted every day for it to ring properly.
- When dialing - sometimes the phone will ring 30-40 seconds after you have pressed dial. A dangerous feature if you deal with confidential conversations.
- To top it all, the glass broke near the USB port when I lightly yanked the charger. In my 13 years of owning phones - I've never had a phone where the glass broke on me.
Sony phones have really lost their way.
