Why is everyone saying to downgrade to gingerbread? It is not possible as it comes with ice cream sandwich from the box and it is working fine. You heavy phone usage people should go and rate other high phones rather than commenting on how such and such this mid range phone is. I would agree to the negativity of this xperia j functions if it were classified in the high range phones, but no, this is a mid range for moderate users ok!!
Zaw, 03 Apr 2013I cannot update to 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) in Sony J. Please help how to do.Make sure your bootloader is not unlock you cannot update if bl is unlock. Just relock it then proceed to updating jb.:-D
Guys is anyone try to downgrade xperia j to gingerbread? Yeah jb is smooth now but i wonder and think it will be more faster if we downgrade it to gngerbread? Wat you think?
Anonymous, 03 Apr 2013 Bad experience with this handset over heating, stuckingVery True.
one more thing xperia j and xperia L almost looks the same.they are both successor of xperia arc in terms of design.
Anonymous, 03 Apr 2013Im almost sure we will wait for Xperia L, dual krait and 1GB are very significant advantages, ... morei dont know about the price but if you have money then go to xperia L cause dual core is better than single core xperia j.but take note also the more core a mobile have the more power it consumes,so it will drain battery faster than xperia j the fact that they have the same 1700 mah battery 1750 in other country.
max lee, 03 Apr 2013after jelly bean using 1 week, I found few bug 1 call log always empty 2 after few software ... morei own xperia j and updated it to jellybean.i never experience any of those bugs you mentioned.call log is working fine, ringtones are fine too, keypad is smooth also i cant find any lags with my xperia j now.also fyi xperia j comes with ice cream sandwich out of the box no gingerbread available.its either you dont own xperia j or just your xperia j is just a defective one.
Im almost sure we will wait for Xperia L, dual krait and 1GB are very significant advantages, plus its proportions and display size and resolution are very similar to the original beauty, the Xperia Arc.
However, buying a J this month does not rule out buying an L in June, i would probably spend those money for beer and girls instead if not. Just that it would really suck if L became available just a week or two after buying a J.
hey.. I have got a patch update for my Xperia J now.. i had updated my j to Jelly bean 10 days ago.. And a patch update already???? whats the add ons added?
ray, 03 Apr 2013there's a little lag before on ice cream sandwich but after jellybean update no more lags and ... moreThanx. But you are wrong about the price, the L will be cheap, no more than 20 percent above today's price of Xperia J. Availability is another question, could take time before its available here. Late May, or even June. Sony is not fast in launching new phones here.
all of you need an xbox feat with an 3500w poweramplifier and a radio.
hey guys a phone is a phone at least..............,you know incoming calls and outgoing calls and that's all
after jelly bean using 1 week, I found few bug
1 call log always empty
2 after few software installed, its lag again
3 keypad still stuck, but better than ICS
4 alarm sound and ringtone setting always missing
I think install back ginger bread better because its ram is small, dun buy this phone, buy Samsung s3 mini or s duos or galaxy grand better...
