phone is good.. sometimes it doesn't respond on single click & the main disadvantage is that it doesn't supports other brands music headphone like Philips, Skull Candy, Sennheiser, etc.. Don't know what's the use of 3.5 mm jack if this is the main disadvantage..

I've been using this smartphone since last november..its an awesome phone at its price range..ya.. a bit laggy..but shouldn't be ur concern if u r not a heavy gamer-boy. i love this beauty.. go for it..its totally worth..i bet ..u won't be disappointed.. :)~

the specs say (as of 2013.01.08): "Non-removable Li-Ion 1750 mAh battery"
the battery IS removable.
for me that's the biggest advantage comparing to Xperia sola.
plus memory card slot and gorilla glass and i've got the winner over sola or U (i dont play 3D games so i dont really need 2 cores).
JLo (XJ) is a very solid (yet cheap) phone.

very disappointint to hear a phone at this prive level to lag. a 1ghz processor handle this phone. i decided rather to wait for xperia e. E has almost similar specs like j except with camera and display..

sony xperia u or j..........???Here's the comparison between U and J:
1)U is dual core while J is single.
2)U has a sharper screen than J 279 PPI vs 244 PPi.
3)J has a bigger screen than U 4" vs 3.5"
4)J has a memory card slot,while U doesn't.
5)J has a stronger battery than U 1750 mAh vs 1320 mAh.
