yes it is slow and camera is not that great. but considering the price range its worth buying.
Better go for LG optimus series L5, L7, L9, {(bigger screen, dual core, bigger RAM and internal memory), + xperia J} within 19K. L9 is even faster than Galaxy S Advance.

Hi. Atleast xperia J is not a bad phone within the cost range. but yes it lags a bit when we switch to one application to another. Camera quality is not very good, as expected with a 5MP camera, althogh the screen is very bright and crisp.
better go for LG L9 its 4.7"screen, dual core with just 2K more. most powerful device within 19K. EX showroom price 18.5K.

I have this smartphone for about a week now. I bought it mainly because of the design and the screen size. I knew its single-core processor would compromise my Xperia/Android experience, but I thought I could deal with it 'cause I'm neither into heavy gaming nor into using demanding apps. The Walkman app is all I need to keep me entertained. And the Films app, too. So if you're not too much of a heavy user and your budget can't be stretched too far for you to have an Xperia T or V, then Xperia J is their sibling that's right for you.

Hi, my friend bought this Xperia J last month and now the Touch Screen is not working properly, it was already replace by the Retail shop where he bought the said phone, but few days later it has the same problem. Does anyone here facing the same Touch screen problem and knows how to resolve this?.. thanks much!

Don't buy this or any other single core A5 phone, seriously under powered. Xperia U Cost the same or even less and has dual core A9. Smooth and powerful, the opposite of xperia J, E, Miro and Tipo. Another alternative is galaxy Ace 2.
Xperia U is delicious, bought one yesterday for onli 10,290 Philippines pesos. And Ace 2 is great also, if you want with a card slot. Xperia J is just terrible. Sony is destroying their reputation with all these single core Cortex A5 phones.

Excellent phone spec wise. I am using past 10 days and its amazing. Only disadvantage I see is the voice severely breaks as though there is no signal. Facing this past 5 days. Need to head to service centre this weekend. :(
