I've had the phone for about a week.
-There is some lag occasionally but NOWHERE near as bad as in the review. Lag is very minor.
-No issues with the autofocus on long distances.
-Build quality isgreat and very comfortable to hold.
-Downloaded MX player for movies and some 720 videos get a little choppy but not many.
-The screen is great.
-Calls sound great.
-Not sure what everyones gripe is with the speakerphone mine is incredibly loud and crisp.
Very happy with it. No dissapointments here.

i am doubtful about dis one, BUt xperia j will get JB nxt year. LWW is much better but i heard it is discontinued already here in PH,i'm afraid i will be having a hard time finding a brand new LWW.. tipo and miro are almost the same also...

The hardware is very weak. For its design they should have given NOVA THOR UT8500 CHIPSET with 1GHZ of A9 dual core CPU and 1 gb of ram with 1750 mah battery. Then the phone would have sold like hot cakes.

the battery mah is not 1750 it's the 1700mah only but awesome battery back to another android mobile to compare i love it i used this phone now

thumbs up for xperia j. enjoy HD watching. i was supposed to buy miro cause it's handy and cute, but, always out of stock in big malls and even in xperia shops in ph. not bad choice.

I'v been usin sony xperia j since last 15 days n dis is wat i observed in d phn... ... morebro you said that the rezon of laging and not playing the heigher definated game is lower ram. but da xperia neo l has 512 ram too. but neo l can runs the hd game very smoothly with out any lag. how cn its posibl?
