Every phone has to lag at some stage right?
Why is having 1 or 2 second lag such a big deal

hey i buy 4day before, sony xperia j, i never had any issue in this phone, is too gud, nice screen touch, and cool battery support, but there is only one issue, is some time its hang for second, otherwise i have good experience, with j, as compare to any xperia cell phone.
in that price range never found any another company phone is as good as xperia j.

Hi Guys
At present I have Samsung Galaxy SL(~ 1 year old).
I'm confused, should I sell my SL & get Xperia J.
I would buy J only for OS i.e. ICS & later Jelly Bean & for the good looks & also maybe for just a change. Other specs are mostly equivalent or better in SL.
For eg.
1. Better processor(1 GHz Cortex-A8 Vs 1 GHz Cortex-A5 in Xperia J)
2. Better GPU(PowerVR SGX530 Vs Adreno 200 in J)
3. Better Video recording(720@30fps Vs VGA in J)
4. Better Bluetooth (3.0 Vs 2.1 in Xperia J)
5. Ambient Light Sensor in SL vs no light sensor in J.
6. Document Editor Vs Viewer only in Xperia J)
7. Less pixel Density in SL( 233ppi Vs 245ppi in J)
8. Smaller Battery in SL(1650mah Vs 1750mah in J)
I like the styling & UI of Xperia J but the Performance of its CPU & GPU is questionable.
I checked synthetic benchmarks of Htc Desire V & Samsung Galaxy S Duos which have same CPU & GPU as Xperia J in gsmarena reviews.
Due to same hardware, performance of Xperia J should also be almost identical to these phones.
Benchmarks were on Linpack, Benchmark Pi, BrowserMark, Sunspider etc.
I chased those values with my Galaxy SL but it could only reach 50% to 75% of those values.
I can't understand, why these CPU's & GPU's can get higher benchmark values than SL.
Please clear it to me, if 1 GHz Cortex-A5-Adreno 200 is better than 1 GHz Cortex-A8-PowerVR SGX530, I will definately buy Xperia J.
So what do you think guys ?
Should I get this one or my SL is better for now.
Against the Desire V & Galaxy S Duos, Xperia J is better IMO b'cos Desire V does not have front Cam & S Duos Does not have Gorrila Glass.
For people asking about Bravia Engine in Xperia Engine, Yes ,it is available in Xperia J.
The white paper don't mention it even for xperia SL.

Ok had a chance to see this first hand over the weekend and yes it does have a Stuttery user interface but its caused by a software problem rather than the hardware as its intermittent and even with everything i could possibly turn off turned off it was still noticeable sometimes when doing something as simple as scrolling the home screens . Its not lag as that would be present all the time . Oh there is still lag but the J is a bit faster than the LG L7 when everything is running smoothly and it looks amazing even better than the pictures . Its a great phone to hold in your hand not to big or wide and it feels really solid . I will be buying this phone for myself when it comes out i just hope Sony fix the UI problems quickly

Also the 3.3 inch display of the Ray is quite small for a 16:9 format screen.
Xperia J had some bad reviews, it often hangs for a second or two, or even 3. Same as the Tipo and Miro, this chipset does not mix well with the current version of timescape, something is causing them to appear unresponsive in periods.
