Some of my research on Xperia L results in finding out about it's future android update i.e android 4.3 jelly bean.. some information About the devices that are directly going to be updated from 4.1 to 4.3 are
1). Xperia L
2). Xperia V
3). Xperia T
While Xperia M and Xperia E Will stay on android 4.1 .

If it's XPERIA L then just touch and hold the menu items on the screen then you'll see the menu button has changed into a dust bin. Now bring the held items to that bin and that's it!
