jkfooty, 07 Aug 2013Phone memory and Internal memory ? Aren't those the same thing ?nope.. it is not..if you can find an XL to hold, look at its storage in setting..
Hi everyone....I'm thinking is buying an xperia phone......but I'm confused between xperia P and L .....I personally thinks that P is better......what u have to say.......please help me.
jkfooty, 07 Aug 2013Tried searching couldn't find anything about XL ? Whats the d/f ?
Not a big fan of large sc... moreHey,I meant "Xperia L" by the term "XL" ( i just used a shortform for Xperia L )
Even i prefer those 4-4'5" phones as u told that internal memory is a concern so i tipped about nexus 4 and since its 4.7 inch it dosnt make much of a diffrnce..yeah it might feel a bit big though....
KT prime, 07 Aug 2013Nah...i meant Xperia L with the term XL (not htc one XL)
Among mid range phones , definitely ... moreTried searching couldn't find anything about XL ? Whats the d/f ?
Not a big fan of large screens mate, 4' 4.5' is more than enough for me for a phone
Ya Nexus 4 is also relatively cheaper compared to SP
prafullgadge, 06 Aug 2013is there auto brightness functionality in xperia l
smooth buttery touch response as per the capasitive touch and yes sony's own xload rock even vth the headphones unplugged. it doesnt lags much like samsung grand(dolly).
Can anyone tell me that what is difference between internal and phone storage??
Im confused, so help me out!!
thanx in advance.
signashoes007, 07 Aug 2013"Go for grand... its awesome.." -for now friend.. for now.. :DHey I heard someone refering to grand against experia. Thats completely a follishness to go for grsnd against xperia l .xperia l is awesome and probably the best in its range
Fizzu, 06 Aug 2013Guys I m having this beauty fr d past one week no issues except two
1. Every game is running ... moreMobile Playstaion feature is only available in some select countries.
Check their website.
jkfooty, 06 Aug 2013Ya guess we should be ok w/o flash but google should review its decision of stopping that apps... moreNah...i meant Xperia L with the term XL (not htc one XL)
Among mid range phones , definitely Xperia L is one of the best ones around ( galaxy grand is fine bt i hate its 5 inch screen with 800x480 resolution along with the clumsy design )
And yes Google should consider to remove the feature where Apps can be only installed in Internal Memory.
I find it difficult as i have Real Racing 3 installed and a couple of Games like dead trigger due to which my memory is almost over (600 mb left)...i wanted to install NFS MW2 bt i dont have space and I dont want to root my phone now...
And if the internal Memory issue is hurting u then i guess u should look among tht 24K INR range phones probably the Nexus 4. It has an advantage over Xperia SP ( rather i'ld say huge advantage) due to its 2GB RAM.....and Nexus 4 has got pretty good reviews and nice performance. I have friends using Nexus 4 and Xperia SP and i'ld recommend Nexus 4 over SP
(Bt with Nexus 4 u dnt have an external card slot..so ur internal mem is cramped to 16GB....say 14 GB for practical Use)

jkfooty, 06 Aug 2013Didn't understand a single word mate, are you trying to say 5.8GB is divided in 2 portions ? O... moreHi jkfooty!
This phone has an internal memory of 8GB.. around 2-2.5 GB for the JB software(of which you cannot edit unless you root and tweak the system), 4GB for the internal memory and 1.5GB for the phone memory.. Meaning, you only have 5.5GB memory that can be use regardless of what you will put in it..It has no dedicated place for apps and media..therefore,if you will install apps to it,it might be placed on the phone memory or internal memory, same with media files(i'm confident with this because i saw on my device that in phone memory, apps and media combined appears on it)..The external storage is for media only, since you cannot transfer apps to external(for now..haha!!).. ^_^
