n0-way, 30 Dec 2013i had xperia m and i sold it, why?: trash display trash camera.. i couldn.t see a mov... moreGood thing you sold yours, why? Because you don't deserve to own one. Camera is not trash, only the stock camera app. If you prefer oversaturated colors, buy a Samsung. If you want top-of-the-line display, buy a flagship--not in this price range.
why sony is not bringing good dual sim android phones with good megapixels camera with scratch proof display and its usual class of art facilities - we are longing
Anonymous, 29 Dec 2013hai tell me about the display..i had xperia m and i sold it, why?:
i couldn.t see a movie, sony did not invest in display and camera. so waste of money!
i will buy another phone between i9105p and ace 3 lte!, do not buy sony=> waste of good hard worked money!
Anonymous, 30 Dec 2013xperia M can update to 4.2.2?Read all the comments and you'll know the answer. He flashed the single sim xpm with dual's firmware.
Moreover it has more support from developers than core or any other phone in its price range....
i bought a xperia m, and while inserting external memory card it never detect that memory card. also i have tried some other cards too but problem exist...please help
It's the best phone it's for for better to core! Samsung cheating customers my purchase money and with costs return by Samsung through courts for galaxy you provide duos! So guys conscious about Samsung mobile!
Satya, 30 Dec 2013Yes i too agree that camera is not up to the mark and is blueish. Even though it has dual core... moreDon't be nerds!
There are options for white balance, the auto may not offer always a great balance but you must choose the right one. The blue appears when it automatically detects to much shadows and switches to 'incandescent'. But that will not be possible, when outside is always set to 'daylight', and indoors or with flash imput at 'fluorescent'.
Camera works better after the 4.2.2 manual upgrade. Just try!
Yes i too agree that camera is not up to the mark and is blueish. Even though it has dual core processors 1gb ram it's full potential use could be done only when u have suffecient internal storage for apps to install in near future and with just 2gb internal ram no bodys is going to be satisfied in todays competitive world. Rest all are ok other than camera and inetrnal storage :( which spoil whole scenario
I updated my Xperia m c1904 to latest firmware, aftr tat ther s no more navigation icon present in my XM... So wats d issue...
I bought this phone 2 weeks ago. One word that I can say for this phone is "satisfying", very satisfying! All system and apps run smoothly without any lag. moreover, (although maybe it's not important) there are some little animation when you open Movies, Walkman, and another sony apps which is very impressive for me.
Worrying about internal storage? yeah I agree so much that 4 GB (actually user only get 2 GB) is very small capacity. But, if you're not a game addict, it's not a big problem. Based on me, with 2 GB I can install twitter, scoop (e-magazine shop), path, instagram, yahoo mail, clean master, apps for language learning, 2 games temple run 2 and into the dead, and other apps more. Now, it remains 400 MB left and I think it's enough for installing another apps in the future. Actually, another 2 GB is used for factory apps (some google apps, some sony apps, and facebook) so I think it's quite fair. Dont forget to buy and insert external SD card for media storage, so it can't disturb your internal storage capacity.
Processor is also working well and very satisfying! I play temple run 2 and into the dead without any lag at all. I don't even have to restart phone for maximize performance.
The camera works well and it has a lot of sony camera features. I'm not a photograph fan but I'm sure that xperia m's camera is awesome.
I'd rather to choose xperia m dual even I'm just using 1 simcard. Because just in case when your data plan is trouble, you can use another simcard without remove the other one. Cool, right?
At last, battery performance is running quite well. With average use, I get approximately a day (22-24 hours) power life. I've tried for a lot usage such as chatting and gaming very often, it runs for approximately 8-9 hours. Don't forget to activate stamina mode (designed by sony to save your battery life).
If someone ask you about comparing xperia m with samsung galaxy core, I can't say much. But I think galaxy core uses a lower level processor (even the speed is measured faster/based on GHz) so I think a lag will be found in galaxy core. The pros for galaxy core is on internal storage which has 8 GB. So, my opinion, if you find a fast-working phone without any lag and don't want to pay much, go for xperia m!
