It support 4 G Connectivity????? will it come with 1.3 Mp and above front camera...
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2014Moto g or xperia m2??Moto g (my opinion) it has 720p which is slightly better
This is not a successor of Xperia M. Looks like of Xperia C. Eagerly Waiting for the actual sucessor of M -> XPERIA M1 DUAL(D2005). Expecting its Specs to be 4.5 inches screen, 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor, 5 or 8 MP camera, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal memory and Dual stereo speakers may be an added advantage. Will it be possible..
Hey SONY... this is a great midranger, which has all the makings of being a bestseller, except for its poor screen. So if somebody from SONY is reading this... please do justice with this beautiful device. You still have 2 months before it is launched in the markets. Please give us a 720 x 1280 screen with shatter proof glass. I won't mind paying $20 more for that. But that would definitely make it the "best" midranger. Cheerio !!!
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2014Moto g or xperia m2??It depends on the price. If this is about $350, get the Moto G. If around or below $250, get this.
So, who going to buy this thing, who will count pixels on screen.
4.8 size giant screen with tiny amount of pixels and you have a calculator with phone function.
Sony must change its name to Funny :)
KC, 24 Feb 2014any info on the pricing of the M2, will this be as costly as Xperia C or like moto-g ?It'll be somewhat like xperia c coz d model is d2305 nd xperia c is c2305. Advance model
are the krait cores in xperia m more effective or the cortex a7 cores in xperia m2??
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2014is this a lte one??some videos on youtube shows is as lte..Yes, theres 3 versions, 2 of them will have LTE from what i understand, one of them support American HSPA and LTE bands.
I have to give this phone credit for having HSPA 850Mhz, that has been missing on virtually all midrange phones (except upper midrange, like Xperia SP) for too long and has been a problem for me ever since my Xperia Z was destroyed in an accident. Far the most lower and medium priced midrangers have only 900 and 2100MHZ HSPA, some Samsung and LG has 1900 in addition to the 2 regular ones but no 850. Good to see Sony going for 850 instead of 1900 but i still wish we would get them both (Xperia M2 version D2305 supports both but that is probably the Non-LTE version for India China + some other select markets and D2303 is the international LTE version)
KC, 24 Feb 2014any info on the pricing of the M2, will this be as costly as Xperia C or like moto-g ?Since this has somewhat more exclusive build quality, Snapdragon chipset and 8GB internal storage you have to expect higher price than Xperia C. The display is smaller but i doubt that tips the price in its favor.
The design of M2 is fantastic, if you consider the fact that its the successor of XM which is practically the entry level phone from Sony. But I would have preferred it to be a bit smaller like 4-4.5inch. I think they will price it a bit higher than what was initially the price of Xperia M when it came out.
any info on the pricing of the M2, will this be as costly as Xperia C or like moto-g ?
qHD at this size, that sucx so much.
Why didnt they call it the L2 instead, this is way too big to be the successor of Xperia M.
Good thing it is 8GB internal, hope Sony have learned to keep 4GB away from lower midrange and reserve that for entry level from now on. Unfortunately they havent learned that flagships are swinging over to 32GB minimum, Sony is still moving too slow and does not catch shifting trends in a timely manner. Z2 with 16GB vs Galaxy S5 with 32GB, its like Sony doesnt want to sell more phones.
