I've been using this phone for almost a year and it still work on its best. The display is OK, battery life is brilliant, the rear camera still can capture great photos. I'm not a selfie lover,so the front cam doesn't bother me a lot. This phone can also deliver a great performance during gaming session.
The con: the speaker isn't loud enough.
Conclusion: best smartphone in its class!

great phone. only one problem. on Facebook messenger I get no notification tone or notification light. just a notification on the icon. has anybody else got this problem

Thanks for this opportunity, i purchase sony xperia M2 last week, the people i purchased from told me that it was a dual sim and i even saw indicated in the phone pack, in gotten home i inserted the 2sims appropriatly but it only accepted 1 sim and didnt recgnised the the other, the browsing network is not fast,very slow and it will be hanging, i will be pressing the botton repeatedly before it will respond, i went back to where i purchased the phone they directed me to sony office, what do you want me to do? IF THIS IS BEING TREATED ACCORDINGLY, I WILL BE GLAD...

display is the best.u have to see it to believe it.the colours,the brightness,the vividity,the viewing angles-wah!deewana bana de!i compared it to my friends moto g and he tld-i bought motog because it had a hd display..but yaar,m2 really beats the hell out of moto g.and samsung?ha ha!i really love it when my phone beats every samsung phone in its range in display...
battery life is very very good.
rear camera is the best.shooting in manual mode with hdr on gives photos that amaze you!and there is a time shift butst mode,ar effect mode!
then the best of all-this m2 has screen mirroring,nfc,usb otg support!now no other phone company has screen mirroring in midrange segment.only s4,s5 have it.htc,moto-no one has it.
all i can say is that-hell!buy this phone asap!

I think xperia m2 has a good back camera, I don't know why many people complain about it. And yes it's front camera is kinda bad,mys ony live with walkman has vga front camera it's still better comparing to M2
