AnonD-315125, 03 Oct 2014Well, it can only be opened with WinZip. How can I install it as a normal app on my phone?First, use your phone (not pc) to search the web, then download the apk to your phone.
Prior to that, first download apk installer from Play Store on your phone.
Then open Apk Installer app to find the downloaded z3 home launcher apk; and click to install. Done.
Go to Setting and Home, to select the z3 home launcher. Enjoy the great UI.

DAN, 03 Oct 2014I bought this phone yesterday.
Camera Quality is very low. How to resolve?If you have not updated to Kitkat 4.4.2 then please do so, as it rectified the camera software and made it better.
If you already on Kitkat and not happy with its auto mode, go try it the manual mode to fiddle with some settings, to find out which is the best setting for different shooting requirements.

You can download Z3 home launcher apk from the web direct to your phone's storage and then install and open it, as default launcher. Or you may do so using APK Installer download from Play Store.

Dan xperia m2 has low camera but when you take a photo it is really good.Dont bother yourself with it.So when you take a picture, picture makes itself better

Just follow the update instruction closely and it should not bring any issue.

I purchased m2 but touchsound and dialpad sound is negligible.. can be heard when phone placed near to ear.... can any1 sugest is this so with all of you...or is this problm..

Can anyone tell me that wether the front camera issue has been resolved after the kitkat update or not.Its completely useless,can't take any selfies at all or make any vedio calls via skype.Sony surely didn't put the camera in the phone for no reason.There must be some software issue.Hope SONY fix it soon.Spent 17k on this phone expect better performance not a useless camera.

Can anyone tell me that if this issue's been resolved in the kitkat update or not.I have used a few phones with VGA cameras but they all are descent.So surely the issues with the software or hardware of this camera only.I hope SONY resolves this issue soon.

1. you need root then use mounting softwares available in playstore...
2. or you can format the card to fat32 using formatting software as it is not allowed by default to format a card >32gb to fat32. (class 10 for best performance).
Those are your options...

mine stopped a couple of times. i cant turn it off and i just have to wait until the battery is discharged. i do not have any idea why it suddenly hanged/stopped.
