GH, 25 Sep 2014Hey guys, I have a question about the M2 that I'm really hoping someone here can help me with.... moreYes i have the same issue.Bought the the phone 2 days back and can't take single selfie at all.Can't even see my face in the camera.Can see the background only.Thats it.
Can anyone tell me that if this issue's been resolved in the kitkat update or not.I have used a few phones with VGA cameras but they all are descent.So surely the issues with the software or hardware of this camera only.I hope SONY resolves this issue soon.

I am using this phone from couple of months, so smooth phone, AWESOME BATTERY 🔋 LIFE, REALLY SUPERB, I saw a film on this phone, 2 and half hour film,battery down only 10% for that whole film

1. you need root then use mounting softwares available in playstore...
2. or you can format the card to fat32 using formatting software as it is not allowed by default to format a card >32gb to fat32. (class 10 for best performance).

mine stopped a couple of times. i cant turn it off and i just have to wait until the battery is discharged. i do not have any idea why it suddenly hanged/stopped.

Anonymous, 30 Sep 2014I have updated my phone to that update and my phone has playing up. It keeps switching it self... moreMy phone was switching off too..until I realized is the light sensor.just put your phone in a light and it will switch on.

When i was changing it to different theme, there's a popup error "unfortunately, launcher stops" i tried this multiple times but it wont let me change the theme. Did u encounter the same?

i have xperia m2 dual.when i charge my phone it normally charge to 90% n after some time it shows 100%. it doesn't come to 91% - 99% but directly shows 100%.Guys pls tell me the solution for this problem.plss plsss plss n thanks in advance. :-) :-)

Btw, if you want to enjoy even snappier UI, try out the Xiaomi (MIUI) Express launcher system on M2. I am using it, no need to root. Constant updates by Xiaomi. Very very fluid and well optimized UI.
Can be varified by improved benchmarks like Antutu and Quadrant.
Also, Kitkat update really improved M2 camera software and results... not VGA guys, LOL.

Hi guys!I have this smartphone for about 2 months now and i just want to share my toughts about it.I live in Germany and was waiting the kitkat update for some time.I got it 2 days ago (2303 model).For a normal user ,this phone is just completly awesome, for the money that i spend for it.It covers all my needs.Kitkat update is a smoother OS,better battery..It does`nt feel so snappy like jelly but its a mutch better android experience.I think bad comments about kitkat comes from ignorant people or software developers(understandable).Personally i don`t know what root means and i don`t want to find it either..and if you don`t know how to use the phone just use the instructions or ask others. From my view, kitkat OS it is just greater than jelly.Front vga camera it was made for video call,to not use much data when no wifi.This phone was designed for midrange users ..who want more, go ahead and spend twice or more for it.

Plug in your phone to PC with usb cable ... it will download the PC Companion from Sony, and you can check on your model whether you can download the relevant Kitkat firmware update.
Or go to your Telco and check with them, it could be they that delay the update?
