Any m2 user know does it have tab to wake feature after kitkat upgrade??

Guys im having a problem and cannot find a solution anywhere. Day after day i will keep checking for the xperia m2 update (4,4) but will not receive it. I am on ee and my model is d2303. My grandad has the same phone on ee aswell, same model number and his has 4.4 does anyone know why this is?

AnonD-269421, 17 Sep 2014No need to put m2aqua into water.. The waterproof just for prevent from rain that's all...My M2 have been in inch of water, it survived, got raindrops on it many times, it got soaked in beer twice on concert and it still works, really people, no need to buy m2 aqua

I regret to 'innocently defense' for Sony's low budget mid range phone with lousy VGA Selfie camera up front. Got the bashing on big big tech theory and tall order though, wow, quite an Read Opinions forum controlled by some policemen. haha.

There are those of us here who wish to engage in intelligent conversation, and not turn this into some kind of petty argument that has absolutely nothing to do with facts.
You just posted an incredibly laughable reply of "Here are FACTS" and then proceeded to post completely false statements, and then complete it with "Hope the above clears all doubt."
Do you realize how incredibly moronic that is?
That is such poor tech talk, it's comical.
Your posts are poorly written, grammatically incorrect, to the point that a lot of it is unintelligible.
First you say the issue is with all VGA cams, which is laughably FALSE. Now you admit that the issue is with the M2, but instead of discussing it intelligently, you go off on some meaningless tirade about other phones, and reading reviews, and the cell provider.
What does any of the above have to do with THIS PHONE, and THIS ISSUE? Absolutely nothing.
I will repeat my advice to you from my original reply, which is; If you do not know what you are talking about, then DON'T POST, because you only make yourself look stupid, and worse, you are misleading others.
If you are incapable of sticking to facts, staying on topic, and discussing in an intelligent and civil manner, then what is even your purpose here?

anonitachi, 25 Sep 2014File Commander comes with JellyBean also. As stated though, my M2 is getting fixed at the mo (... moreMy Spencerian so far with KitKat is good in general just the following issues persists:
1. When app is moved to SD cards and a shortcut for it is created on home screen, after restart of the phone the short cut is missing from the home screen and I have to place it again.
2. Third party applications don't have permission to write on SD card. So i can't download torrents and files directly yo SD, and I cannot copy or delete files on SD from third party file explorer as ES. But I've read that this is a KitKat restriction which is up to manufacturer to adjust. And I hope that in the next updates of the applications this issue might be fixed for KitKat

i own M2 that's why i knew its front VGA is useless.i tried it out. But i dont do selfie. Want good Selfie? Go and buy the Sony Xperia C3 for your gf. That's the only way to make her happy...
Btw, the cellphone provider is right to turn you people away. Becos you basically never listen.

There are COUNTLESS mid-tier phones that are only equipped with a VGA front cam, and I have never ever heard of even ONE of them have a similar issue to what I have described, which is being unusable indoors.
Personally, I have never purchased a flagship phone, and therefore almost all of my phones have had VGA front cams and all worked just fine, thank you. In fact, I have a VGA front cam on my LG L90 that I own right now, and it can snap pictures even in the dimmest of rooms. Heck, even iPhone had been VGA all the way through iPhone 4.
Have you ever heard of anyone saying something so outrageous as "Oh well, it's VGA, therefore it doesn't have to work. Go outside if you want to take pictures, otherwise buy an incredibly expensive phone that has a 2MP front cam"? Nope.
Now, if you want to argue that VGA pics are low quality, that's fine. After all, they're called low-res for a reason.
But for you to come on here and assert that VGA cams are known to not work indoors, or that consumers need to buy a phone with a 2MP front cam in order to have decent pics, is just factually wrong, and it's incredibly annoying that you would even take the time to write something so false on here.
If you do not know what you're talking about, then please do not make false assertions, because you are only creating confusion and could potentially mislead people.

~ the M2 front camera is ONLY a VGA cam at 480p. You need at least 2MP or higher cam for decent selfie. These days manufacturers are coming up with 5 ~ 8MP front cam...
~ so, ask your gf to ONLY use M2 front cam selfie outdoor daylight (not backlight). If selfie at indoor, make sure there's DIRECT light source on her face. Otherwise, the result is for sure ~ black faces!
Hope the above clear your doubt once and for all.

Also, app data can be moved to sdcard.
