Especially after the update should download Android L theme (NOVA Launcher).

Kitkat updated ,I did not find much difference .Secondary camera is good for nothing and if you need to take a selfie -you need to buy another phone . battery gets heated up a lot . User interface is not friendly . No search bar on top of contacts by default and no default sim option to make call . Effectively 4 clicks make a call .contact-search-number-sim . Application screen -to reach the first screen from last u need to scroll back , which seems to be odd as it is not in a loop .

New updateis really needed 4.4.4...reason :sometime my phone cant 'catch' internet line even my connection is H+... This problem founded after i updated my phone... In 4.3 is ok but in 4.4 i face this issue... My model is D2305... M2 3g single...

I don't mean to be acerbic, but for people wanting a Sony smartphone with good front camera then better buy Xperia C3 instead or phones from the Xperia Z series.
Or try buying other phones with front cameras sporting 1MP and above.

Fifi, 30 Aug 2014I just bought M2 yesterday..the front camera is so bad..fail!that's y I sold mine off, I bet u can't see anything when u are taking a pic with the front camera especially when u are sitting in the car with the cabin lights on.. Go try out the Lenovo s960,u will definitely satisfied with it.

Acc... moreYou would enjoy Kitkat becos thru this update, Sony has improved its camera software.
Also, apps and UI are very smooth.
Kitkat OS allows app data and media to b transferred to sdcard, so the 5GB internal storage space is enough.

According to M2 whitepaper of SONY site :
" Memeory comprises of approximately of 3GB firmware,
plus 5GB of "Internal storage" for downloaded applications,music,pictures and movies and some application data. "
Therefore 8GB = 3(Out of reach for user) + 5(Internal storage)

For details of Kitkat update and what to watch for, you may search the web for any guidance been uploaded by kind people, type in sentence such as Sony Xperia M2 Got Its Kitkat Update etc.etc. or whatever.
