xperia m2 does not good in camera quality even xperia c is better than this in camera quality.
m2 is a failure ! the back is easy to got heat when using lte

I really disappointed with its Camera. I can say it's worst than My sony LIVE WITH WALKMAN . Even though Sony live with walk man just 5megapixel ,but it's still better than Sony M2

Im a m2 user,in a call when I keep my phone in my ear.and when I take it off after 30secnds or more than that.display dosent light up.and the phone is locked.so I have to unlock it again.plz help me.coment above.for the help thanks

I like the performance of the phone, its amazing, playing games without a problem. I like the phone but i have 2 things i dont like on it,1-primary camera isnt that good and 2- i cant send apps on my sd card. overall the phone is good and i got it cheap, 190 euros, instead of 260.

In love with this phone. Have been using it since past 1.5 months now. My requirement was a stylish upmarket looking Sony phone. Fits the bill perfectly. Purchased in May end in Pune @ 18750 INR. Though costly than similar phones with similar specs, but hey its a Sony afterall, Sony phones have always been costlier than others.
Now the review;
Design; looks sleek, stylish and elegant and costlier than it is. Do not be wary of the screen resolution and pixel density. The pictures and movies look just awesome. The touch is excellent.
Software & Interface; The interface is too smooth, without any lag at all. Love the customization by Sony. I have not played any highend games on this phone so cannot say anything about the top end performance. But have seen people playing highend games on it and according to them those games too run smoothly. This maybe in part due to the qHD screen.
Camera; When I compare the images with my older Vivaz that was also 8 MP, I see that the images from M2 are too overprocessed. They do not look natural! Sony, your 4 year old 8 MP phone clicks better photos than the current 8 MP phone. Why??? Vivaz did not have a front cam, and I really wanted to join the selfie revolution, and to me M2 front cam is a disappointment. Sony should have reduced the price and removed the front cam, instead of installing the worst front cam possible.
Sound Quality; this is a no brainer. If it's Sony this better be perfect. The sound quality in earphones is awesome. The Walkman application is amazing. The phone's speaker sits at the bottom, so while playing movies in landscape orientation, you won't have any problems, but hold the phone in portrait orientation and your hand is bound to cover the speaker.
Battery; with Stamina mode on is excellent. Take a 100% charged phone in the morning and talk, click, listen, watch, play and show off till late night. There would be enough juice left to have a late night chat or a browsing session.
All in all, I am loving this phone, but I just hope Sony would do something with the camera in future updates. Hey and its 14th of July, where's my Kitkat? I heard it was coming for M2 in July!

im a g2 mini and xperia m2 user.
i love my two phones but my favorite is G2 mini it has better screen and better camera also slightly longer batterylife.
the screen on G2 mini is almost the same as 720p on other phones the IPS qHD is really bright and good viewing angle also sharp.
internet connection is faster on g2 mini than my Xperia m2 using the same network in my country.
i recommended both but if you want better camera and video recorder choose G2 mini, if you want music choose Xperia m2!

I've had this phone for 3 weeks.
The primary 8MP camera isn't so bad, but front VGA camera is not OK...)
The sound quality is acceptable, WiFi is good too.
Battery life is excellent !
For now, I am very pleased with this phone.

Deni, 12 Jul 2014The camera quality is very bad !!!Not that bad, not very good in low light condition. But I think the software of the camera is the problem,try using other camera app like 360,my myself have tried it and photos are better(not much noises or blur)
But in the daylight this camera shows its real power. Trust me..

grand 2 is better den xperia m 2, coz it has hd display nd 1.5gb ram nd grand 2 front cam is also better (1.9 MP)...

Grand2 has poor viewing angle because of old tft screen!
Moreover, M2 has reasonable size to one_hand use in daily life
Ominibalance unibody design give you premium feel and camera with fantastic features are unique!
Sony UI is attractive and so nice*****
