The phone would overheat and shut down after a few minutes usage.
Absolute rubbish. Shuts down all the time and will not restart without charger. An expensive annoying phone that is completely useless. I am so put off SONY for the lack of recall to fix this terrible device.
I really like the spec for this phone but i heard some bad things about it and the biggest worry is about auto shutdown problem can anyone tell me should or should i not buy this phone, before this i had a sony phone and i was amazed by it's durability and quality
I have had 2 faulty Sony M5's returned. I would just switch off and won't power up again. It seems to have been discontinued in South Africa. Great camera, my previous Sony M2 Aqua was superb compared to its follower!
i went already to the local xperia support you have here in the philippines that's the first thing i've done so that i will know if sony can do something about it. unfortunately they cannot repair my sony xperia m5 since they only realease dual sim here in the philippines. my sony xperia m5 is single nano sim. that's why they cannot repair my sony m5. im very disappointed. i just bought it and it only last for six month now i cannot use it. now what do you want me to do just throw my sony xperia m5 and put my money into waste. first 3 months i have a problem already with the battery now after 3 months, i cannot use it anymore. totally shutdown. hope could do something about this.
I love this phone so much. I have it for more than a month now. I don't have any problems. My dad has an old Sony phone he bought it 4 years ago and it still works! Before this phone I had Samsung and I will never have Samsung in my life! So I decided to buy Sony and it's fing amazing! Fast, great camera, battery is okay (better than Samsung phones 10x), it is waterproof, it's a perfect phone for that price, too good
I'm very.. very.. very.. disapponted with this series. The advertisement was so good. They told us about that smartphone could be "swim" in depth 1.5 and 30 minutes, but the fact is the water fill the phone and phhhuuffff... So, i took it to Sony Center to fix the problem. I waited for almost a month and still found problems, the touchscreen can't use normally. I sent it to Sony Center again, and wait about 40 days. But I found my phone not 100% fixed. I surrendered with this situation. So I suggest you all not to buy Sony smartphone product.

I ordered a Sony Xpedia M5 from DWI 3mths ago it arrived by courier I unpacked it a nice looking phone, I put it on charge and fitted the sim, turning it on I found the battery flat.
I contacted DWI it was returned they sent back a new phone so I fitted the sim after charging but it kept telling me it couldn't find a signal. So I took it to a Telstra store in Wanneroo Western Australia the manager determined the phone only has wifi capabilities. I brought it home and contacted DWI they said send it back. I can't be bothered it has cost me 2 days wages running around.
I will never buy another SONY product

I only used it for 3 weeks. Then it goes something wrong. The screen was moves itself, got some stripes, and turned into mosaic. So i brought it to Xperia centre in my town. After a month it "hospitalized" i ask them again, the answer is they still wait for new machine reservation, because the machine should be changed. But they don't give me time estimated. It's been a month in service centre, but i only used it for 3 weeks. It so sad
Is xperia m5 is good phone suggest me
Because i choose to buy that model
Please tell me if any demerits and suggest me an good model instead of this..
