Ronnie , 17 Jun 2016Just want to clarify which one is good HTC One A9 or Sony Xperia M5 Go for HTC One A9(or any brand phone units) but not Xperia M5. I bought M5 Xperia last april but after two weeks it has many issues...From my experienced from that phone they just replaced the Motherboard and camera(front and back). No refund nor phone replacement. At the end of the day, you will regret for buying it. :(

Hey guys,
Don't trust Sony anymore. Don't buy their products. They are cheating. If they couldn't fix a simple issue in this model and they didn't offer to replace your phone to other models especially they know the big issue in this phone, it means, it will not fix any issues of other phones. M5 has a big problem with auto shutdown, it's annoying, imagine yourself going from town to town and your phone simply with no warning shutdown and you need to make a call, it's useless. If Sony didn't fix this serious issue for M5 don't expect they will fix any other issues in the other models. They don't care about their customers, so go to other vendors (Samsung, HTC, ...) respect their customers and respect their name.
Don't Don't Don't buy any Sony products. Forget there is name called Sony.

Hello awesome ppl from all over the world! Dude from Europe here. Bought Sony M5 somewhat a month ago. Yes, yes auto shutdown issue here aswell, but real easy solution is to set network type to GSM ONLY. So what your internet speed will drop dramaticaly who freaking cares. Stop being so addictive. Sony will probably adress this issue asap. Phone itself is very good. I highly recommend buying it! Camera is blazing fast, quality is superior, both rear and front, no lag whatsoever and great build quality. Before M5 i used Sony M4 aqua well that was a terrible phone. Epic stuff dudes! And it's getting android 6.0.

LDW, 06 Jun 2016I bought the Xperia M5 last year, gave me auto shutdown problems, took it in and they replaced... moreI've been a user of Sony M5 for more 7 months now. I did experience the auto-shutdown even when the battery is above 50%. I resolved this by reading from one of the forums online unfortunately the modification will not make me enjoy my internet so much. Based on experience, the M5 auto-shuts down when your phone's preferred network type is set up to LTE or even on WCDMA/GSM. As long as the geographical area where you are in has an LTE it will not shut down, outside that area, the phone will shut down and the only solution to revive it is to plugged it directly to a charger which is a pain in the b***. You have to set it to GSM only (Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Preferred Network Type) so it will work whenever and wherever you are. The downside is internet is slow using GSM. You cannot even get an internet app working properly with GSM. I hope Sony release an update for it. I hope this helps you.

Dont buy the M5.. its terrible!!
I bought on 3 months ago and its the second time I send it to the Waranty service!!
After a month using it... just autoshut down for no reason and dont turn on again! The Phone just dies after a month using it! Its the second time for me...
First time they replaced de main board... it work fine for 2 days and then died again for no reason!! Same probblem!! Now I send it back to the waranty service again!!
this is the worst phone ive already had!! And the battery life its terrible too!!
the only thing good about this phone its the camera... but I think thats not enough!! The phone just reamains alive for 1 month and then just dies for no reason and wont turn on again!!
Seriously if you want my honest opinion... I would choose the nexus!! It will have a good camera and all the android updates!!
However, the p9 lite its an awesome device too, a great build quality, great design, nice camera, and the performance its almost like a "flagship"!! I had the chance to test a p9 lite for about 2 weeks and it gets me very impressed!! very, very very nice performance!!! It runs all the apps and heavy games of playstore without problems!!! It have a flagship performance!! very nice!!!
I hope my opinion will help you to have a choice!!

Mine its the second time it goes to waranty service!!
I bought the phone on March of 2016... and after a mouth using it just autoshutdown and dont turn on again!! just DIED!!
I went to the nearest sony sevice center and it took 25 days to be fixed!! they replaced the board and the power System!!
After getting it back from waranty sevice... after 2 days the phone DIED again!!! Now im waiting again... its already 27 days and not repaired yet!! I think I will ask for a refund guys!!
Dont buy this phone!!!
It has a great camera... but thats not enough!! Battery sucks, and have that autosutdown problems!!! The phone just remains alive for the first month and then just Dies for no reason and dont turn on again!!
Dont buy it!! Its terrible!!

Bought my M5 on january and after a week shutdown problem become the biggest issue in my life. Dont buy this phone. Oppps i have to re-type this again because the phone shutdown again 😀

hello.. i bought my sony m5 last aprill 20, 2016 from sony store. However, this may 20, my sony xperia M5 just autoshutdown and then it never on.. i thought theres no battery.. however i charge it however still nothing happens..
i went to the nearest sony service center and then gave it to them for repair as it still on warranty period (newly bought). Its already 20 days and yest its still not being repaired
anyways, the camera specs of the M5 is great
however, the battery life sucks, it has a sudden death issue and doesnt know how to multitask

My wife has a huawei P8 for more than a year and it has been an awesome Phone!! One of the best she already had!! No lags, great camera, great performance, nice display!! Feels good in the hand... I think you will like!!
The only think you need to be carefull on P8 is the scratches!!! The aluminium is very easy to scratch...but with a good cover you solve the problem!! Go for it!! You wont regret!
Another good option is the new P9 lite.. take a look!!
Its great too.. and a little bit more affordable!!
