Just a few apps installed and the storage is full (I have an SD card of 32gb installed too). Most of the storage is taken by Sony itself, all kinds of programs that cannot be removed take up a lot of the storage. I'd prefer to only have Android and not all that extra Sony-stuff.

I really like my phone.I use it for nonstop gaming (Paradise War).I have it for more than an year ,but a few months ago started restarting a lot on it's own.
It says there is no sim when it restarts,while there is.It can restart endlessly (when I am not using it,when I use it it doesn't).Rarely shuts down completely,needs a charger to start.
I wonder what is the problem, was it the overheating it gets while I game for too long, or did I ruined the battery with the games and endless recharge mode?
I don't know,I don't really wanna lose it,so I decided to change the battery ,I hope it will work.
My M5 is still in warranty,but I can't give it to Sony and wait for weeks or months to get it back...Hell,I can't skip a day in my game without suffering loses.
So I really hope the battery change will help, otherwise I will have to say Goodbye permanently to Sony and move to Samsung,hoping for better phone life longevity there.
As price to parameters is great....But I really hope it has more life in it than one year.

Do not ever but it under a tap or submerged in a water, it will be damaged. My M5 was felt in a water for second and damaged (need screen and motherboard to repair and out of the warranty).Sony is a big fake

Not waterproof! Water resistant it is! But waterproofing is a Sony scam

Replace your battery with a new one,it will solve the problem permanently. I had the same problem earlier and did the replacement!!!

m4 froze and broke to the point where the store had to replace with the m5.
less than 1 year later M5 has died in exactly the same way.. never buying a sony again ever.

I have this phone for six months now and i must say that it is great! It doesn't show any lag and I have been pushing it real hard with games and various apps... Batery life is somewhat lacking especially if you are a heavy user like me. Both cameras are great and I bleave you won't find better in these price segment. Also water resistance came in handy when a friebd accidentally spilled bier all over the phone.

Burst mode on Xperia M5 shots about 4 frames per second, whereas the Xperia Z burst mode shots about 10 frames per second.
