In Estonia there was also this problem, but now we got new M5 because first ones were faulty.

I went to a cellphone outlet today to buy the M5 and I was told that all the M series phones from Sony were withdrawn due to suspected factory fault.Maybe there might solutions soon

After update, the screen not stable saking difficult to view. particular in webbrowsing and photo album every except home screen.

Till when will sony keep ignoring our comments i bought this phone and its completelu useless piece of stone it shut downs more than 10 times per day i think we all deserve a proper explanation for this and more we.need a.solution or un update that solve this matter or uncan just say that u failed ur customers

My Xperia m5 works very well. This is the second batch of m5 released by sony. for more than a month of usage, it did not bring me any problem. Nice camera!

1. It switches of on its own even if the battery is 100%.
2. For you to switch it on, you have to put it on the charger first.
I lost a job interview because of this phone. It switched off whilst i was talking to the HR...was far from a charger...couldnt switch it on.

cz the spec is good so far, and the design so elega... moreI live in Indonesia and use my xperia m5 in almost 3 months and the only problem I get are the "2 days battery life" and "waterproof" fraud. I mean I constantly spark water to the screen and it becomes wild and uncontrollable by tapping it self up without my fingertip on it and goes crazy, until I lock the phone, clean the screen to dry and unlock (turn the screen) it back on.
Other than that, it's a dream come true smartphone.

Anne, 25 Feb 2016Auto shutdown problem. The worst. Same auto shutdown on my z1c!!! when I use the camera there's always a notif that the phone is overheating when it's not even warm to touch so I can't start the app!!! -_-

M5 is now about 370 euros, z2 also about 370 and Z3 is about 400. So... Go for Z3. It might not be the newest like M5, but it belongs to flagship series and it is a bit stronger version of Z2 so dont be cheap for just 8% of a price. And if you get Z2 or Z3 go for android 5.1.1 ... it works the best with these 2 phones.
