Yes the problem of battery lock was with initial batch. All new batches have this problem rectified.

Was informed if casing opened it will no longer be waterproof.All you then get is return to supplier in hong kong.

meant to say as well refering to my M5 phone.In order to use 4G on your phone check the network section.I have giff gaff 4G and could not use it on this phone.

own a m5 dual for 8 months now.yes it is a good phone but unfortunally suffered the turn off mode when out of signal range which meant i had to carry around a power pack to start the phone again.Worse came when the phone went into freeze mode and could not be turned on.Did a repair down load from sony which helped to start but had constant flickering before turning off.Sent to sony but returned as no warrenty.Was sending back to simply electronics under warrenty but they have gone into liquidation.Looked at buying a x performance but the M5 seems the better phone.Question is if i buy another, am i going to get the same problem again?

Finally after 2 hardware failures in last 4 months (both between July 16 and August 2) and escalating to CEO of Sony Mobile and Sony Corporation and lot of discussion with top management SONY is replacing my m5 dual with a brand new one. Hats off to SONY finally they proved to be customer centric

worst as i have purchased the same phone and facing the proble of motherboard wihtin a month.
one of my friend is even facing the same proble. and service centre are so worst that they will not solve the issue before a month. so you can use for a mothn after that it will start asking for servicing.

Indonesia got Marshmallow already.
Nothing much has changed. the most significant change is on d settings, as usual.
and there are a big difference on the stamina mode. the stamina mode restricts app so strictly than before. so, when using the phone constantly i prefer to disable this option cuz it makes my apps works not smoothly.
