Connect your m5 to pc companion you will get the marshmallow update. I tried to check ota but it is not available but when i connected my mobile to pc i have the update already. now updating to android. 6.0.Xperia m5 dual

Well about auto shut down, when I first got it I had this problem and It didn't turn on even except when I put the charger although is was 90% charged so finally I gave it back in 5 days and I waited 48 hours and I came to get a new one.
Its good mobile but yes gets hot sometimes during using it and the battery doesn't last more than 3/4 a day in case of using it much.

Help.., 13 Jul 2016Plz help..should i buy sony m5 or sony z3 Z3 is the best in performance and bad in camera for both and m5 is the good in performance and also good in both camera but disadvantage of m5 is worst in battery 🔋 life...... It irritates u
