Anyone experience "unfortunately, your camera has stopped" when wanna use camera or camera related apps after update? Restart, clearing the cache etc doesn't help and the camera is not available too in safe mode
I can say that this phone is the best phone you could get in the middle range competition, most specs are topnotch or comparable to a flagship device. The only problem is if you receive a unit which is shutting down in certain areas which has a low lte or 3g signal. It wont restart unless you connect it with a charger or powerbank. The reason is that these units have version 1 battery which is causing the shutting down of the phone. This is a known issue with m5 units. I have 2 solutions for you, firstly replace it with a unit which has a green circular sticker on the box that is stating that the unit has an updated battery(version 3), and lastly go to sony centre and have your battery replaced for free. It's a known issue and they will replace it within an hour.
If you don't use mobile data you simply use 2g network so it will not shutdown..

Yesterday I Buy a Sony Xperia M5 Dual After two minutes using too heat ,iam worrying this devise to use only five minutes happened to heat how can we use it in travelling to hear music or other software half an hour, today i openened devise after three shot camera error massage we received . what can i do . only after 12 hours its happen what can i do . it too bad feeling to me. iam proud of the sony xperia system till it happened. but now am very disappoint. please advice to me .
I would like to know if I can go for this phone. Suggestion please....
I got the rev 2, ive been using it almost a month and never encountered any issue yet like the autoshutdown.
But id like to ask anyone who owns the m5 any feedback about being waterproof? Thanks!

1 - They often heat up quite fast
2 - Due to problem 1, they tend to shutdown apps to reduce the heat
3 - Right now, if you bought the early batch of Xperia M5, most of them have hardware defects that make them autoshutdown
1 - Always check the task manager to shutdown running apps on background to reduce the processor and RAM usage thus reducing heat and make the phone a bit faster
2 - Just do solution 1 cause it's related
3 - Plug in to charger to 'jumpstart' the phone and some people on the net said that you need to use 3G instead of 4G cause the loss of 4G signal is causing the phone to autoshutdown
I just got the Xperia M5 dual, what are the most common problems with that specific phone?, so I can be aware!

If not, try to update the software.
