And longer than a week before giving problems and I reckon that AU$377 + $25 shipping is not all that "mid-range" pricing. After all, the Asus Zenfone dumped the Intel Atom processor for Qualcomm without much affect on the pricing!

Yes, big problems with this M5, First it shuts down when signal is weak and will not restart until plugged in to power. Gets very hot in use. Crashes when playing busy games. Then eventually died completely within one month. I believe the problem is the MTK processor. If Sony replace the MTK processor with 810 Qualcomm Snapdragon this will be a really great phone. I sent phone back to retailer in Hong Kong, waiting for replacement...... I hope, or maybe exchange for Samsung Galaxy S5, more reliable for use in Australia. I got the M5 because specifications attracted me, but now I believe reliability is better.

I am on LTE all day and heavily use mobile data. This looks promising. By the way, the guy in the service centre said this new batch of phones was shipped from Singapore. Don't know if that makes any difference.

Im using m5 2mnths no problem
Gud phone .... A minor problem is battery drinage fastly.....

Im also experiencing the what they called "battery lock". And im so upset i can't used it without using a charger. Sony this is a serious problem of your product make a solution as soon as possible!

Old battery rev is 2 or below...while new battery rev is 3.

How do we get a refund for sonyM5? I have used 3 different sony brands in last 7yrs and M5 is the most disappointing. Battery drains,power shuts off and camwra hangs. WORSE OF ALL sony offers no solution. I think buyers of M5 must all file a complaint with DTI or consumer complaint organizations.

I am perches a new Sony smart phone RS 35000 in last month NOV after some day my phone auto switch off when I am using phone again I am try to switch on phone not switch on when I am connect charge in devise then mobile on I am visit vashi gallery they return after repair my phone I am again facing same issue I am try to use mobile at safe mode again I am facing same issue my phone auto switch off in day 10 to 15 times Sony this product M5 not good
