what to do?? help1!!
bought my M5 last October 16. after 3days, my phone automatically shuts down and won't open unless i recharge it again. and then would have to fix the whole settings again! after 3days of continuous shutting down on its own (its like it became a hobby!) i finally decided to go back to the store where i bought it. requested for a change unit. the store manager was accomodating though. they emailed Sony about my complain and requested for a new unit. after a week of waiting. I got the new unit. but after A WEEK. same old problem! shutting down for 2days now. and more than twice a day. it is so frustrating!! I wanna cancel this order if possible!

Today i got back my phone from Sony Service Center. It was 31 days to claim my warranty. Sony has replace my Main Board due the shutdown issue (it mean new IMEI will get). Now im buying 32 gb micro sd card and will use it as my daily phone. Any problem will inform here. I dont know what to say after 31 days BUT now i can smile again lol.

Xperia lovers, 06 Nov 2015The phone you buy from where?I bought it in early oct,ori sony waranty from a phone shop in k.dmnsara,my assumption of the shutdown issue is that sony is not familiar n still hving prob to optimise the helio chipset n thus the system may be running on the higher side of temp that triggers the shutdown,in stamina mode i ticked the extended usage n a few more to reduce performnce,n so far extensive usage of ggle maps make the phone heaty but never lead to a shutdown.
wow!after reading all the -ve comment,I'm quite lucky to hv a working m5 with no major prob,only had sd card unmount by itself once in a while but apart from that no issue with shutdown or anything like that,its been a month of use,n coming from xiaomi mi4 n mi4i,m5 camera has really good autofocus speed n resolution details,but the superior auto can only be set at the higher resolution whereelse the z5 families u can toned down the megapixels,so u need big sd card to cater for the big photo size.battery life using stamina mode can last me 3 days,btw im from m'sia.

There is an elongated dual sim card holder, It has two spaces for each of your two sim cards. Alongside the sim card slot is the SD card holder. So yes you get dual sim card facility PLUS SD card. I bought an OPPO R7 last month on the understanding that it had the same set up, but unfortunately it did not. There were two spaces in the sim card holder, which was for either two sim cards or one sim card and one SD card. So really the Oppo is only a single sim card phone when used with a SD card, which is necessary because the Oppo "Color" operating system which runs over the android OS uses half of the available 16GB memory.
So if you need two sims + SD card, then the M5 is the device for you.
