I'm really enjoy this phone . sound very loud but must activated crystal audio, camera awesome and good speed no lagging at all. You're lucky owner.
This Phone has really become a big problem. In a sony forum, one user has gone to the service center and they are now recommending to change the motherboard...what a big problem. First its software update, next its firmware problem, now its motherboard...its obvious that this phone is all out defective.
Using this phone for three weeks. It's really awesome. I request everyone not to put reviews without using the phone. I am a rough user. I have played almost all the high level games (About 7). It never lagged. One more thing battery is just 2600mah. If you bought this phone then you must not comment anything about this phone. Because you must have known a Octa-Core 2 GHz MT6795T and a PowerVR G6200 will definitely consume much battery. My battery still stands for about 13Hrs (3G, Location and Auto-Sync ON!!!). One more important thing my phone has never turned off automatically. What else you need at a rate cap of 35K?? Camera still stands first when compared to the other phones. Sound quality is good as well. I am very happy buying this phone.
I'm so close in buying this M5 good thing I read your post. I'm from the Philippines too. So Sony Philippines can not do something about those "issues" plaguing this smartphone. Sayang it has a potential although pricey when you get it from Sony but cheaper in gray market.
auto shutdown once a week.... no way to turn on... except plug in power cable...

Many of us here in the Philippines are having the same problem of sudden shutdown of the M5 even in full battery power. Cannot even turn on with the power button. You have to connect to the power charger to turn it back on. Sony does not have any solution. This model needs a recall...

My phone is in service centre since 29th September for replacement and still nothing done by serv centre. Don't know when I'll get the new handset. Facing such Hassall's after spending 35k.
