mariz, 23 Nov 2012i'm from the philippines.. did they charge you for the replacement of motherboard? or its free... morehey mariz they didnt charged me for the replacement of motherboard and my phone is also in warranty.good news is that i got 1month warranty for free because the phone was with them for whole 1month and i went to sony india head office and they provided me this extension of warranty for 1month.i hope in ur country the replacement of motherboard will not take so much long.my phone is working good...:) its been 2days no issues!!!Reply...

I bought xpria J .but its giving lot of probs
1> if i open camera and game for few min its getting heat
2> if i open image privw in camera huge sound coming from camera lens.. like CUT CUT.... I dono y its happng .. I am really nt satisfy wid ds cell. I replaced once with new same series but other cell which i repled that is also hving same problem.... again i raised the cmplaint to sony.I dnt want this sries cell anymre.
If u guys having same J sries pls tell m r u guys facng any probs?

mariz, 22 Nov 2012yup now its working good and the sound in the earphones also got incresed...i m not seeing any... morei'm from the philippines.. did they charge you for the replacement of motherboard? or its free? my phone is still under warranty..

i did purchased the xperia miro in one of POS Digital cell shop and unfortunately after 5days of usage the earpiece is not working. so i decided to bring the unit back to them and have it replaced but they'd told me that it could take almost a month before they can replace it. its quiet frustrating but what if if i let them repair the unit since that they don't have available miro on their warehouse. any advice what would be the best thing to do? will i let them repair it?? do they have good technician who can repair it well??

U can try MX player...It is capable of playing hd vids Upton 720 but it can't play 1080 p vids..

AnonD-79417, 22 Nov 2012hi! my miro also automatically shut off.. i don't know why.. what happened to your phone? did ... morehey mariz i also got the same problem and when i went to service center they told me abt update and after sometime they came up with me about the motherboard problem as it was not accepting the software and in that case they told it will just replaced with new motherboard.i leave the phone on 20th oct. and today(22nd nov.) i got my phone...means 1month taken but it was my issue dnt know how much time it will take for urs.if they take more than 15days then ask for new handset or just go to sony headoffice in a-31 mathura road and there they will help u.i got my handset repaired with the new motherboard and now its working good....using the phone today after 1month.hey if you have purchased the phone just a few days back then they have policy that they will replace the handset with new one within 7days after the date of purchase.try to get new handset if you can.just now i read ur msg that its old for only 26days...same my case...but go to service center first and tell ur prob. maybe u will also get a replace of motherboard.After that all issues will gone.

kunal, 16 Nov 2012hey sara i also have the same problem that phone gets switched off automatically and i gave it... morehi! my miro also automatically shut off.. i don't know why.. what happened to your phone? did they change the motherboard? i asked the retailer and they said that the service center will reset the program, and if fails to reset the program, they will change also the motherboard.. i'm curious what happened to your phone? thanks,please reply..

my miro is good, but after 26days, my phone broke down..i don't know why... i cannot open it anymore. :(
