Htc explorer is powered by a advanced processor(Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon
CPU 600 MHz Cortex A5
GPU Adreno 200) which is running on ginger bread. but htc did not give an update to ICS.
Now xperia miro is a bit more advanced and more powered processor(Qualcomm MSM7225A
CPU 800 MHz Cortex-A9
GPU Adreno 200). Which is enough to run ICS.
Both the phones have 512MB RAM.
One of my friend has explorer, it is a superb phone, it can run games like temple run smoothly...
I hope even miro which is more advanced,more powered can deliver same performance in ICS.

I think it can be upgraded to v5 in miro becz if it is v4 that mean it is also power like 1 ghz.
I think it may possible to update v5(jelly been).

First understand what i said,
I know they all are running gingerbread OS, update to ICS will be given within 1 or 2 months.
What i'm saying is when jelly bean is released official, "xperia u" can also be updated to jelly bean.
100% xperia u will get jelly bean because it is powered by 1GHz dual core which is enough to run jelly bean.
100% miro wont get jelly bean.
As u said, live with walkman which powered by 1GHz processor when updated to ICS, becomes slow.
How can u expect miro which is powered 800MHz can run ICS or jelly bean with great speed?
And once again, i'm not saying that xperia miro is not good phone.
It is the best phone at this price and for normal users...

This information is wrong.....
U can check in the white paper of this phone which will available in the sony website. or u can directly check in the sony official website....
Here is the website.(check in the display specs, as bravia engine is not given there. It wil be given there for all the phones with bravia engine)

Live with walkman goes well not best after the update.
Icecream sandwich is an advanced OS, hence there will be some lag in speed when multitasked or it might some times hang(not always).
U cant say that miro works with great speed.
Even miro gets hanged if u multitask with it.
And regarding flash, it is not the problem with all the users.
Their are so many user reviews which that device has been improved.

u r just acting as if u have designed the live walkman
and now about the ICS upgrade
i know its available for live
but the phone starts acting some what slow or hangs, even the flash stops to work
these are the prob's in live walkman if u upgrade ok
nxt xperia miro, i like that
and it will be realy good

My opinion is Live is best...
Live has fast processor and GPU.
Update to icecream sandwich for Live with walkman is
already given.
Live has the best audio output.
Live has a bit small display with more pixel density, vice versa for miro.
Both the phones are not powered by bravia engine.
disadvantage with live is, it is a bit thick.
Even xperia arc, xperia arc s, xperia play, xperia ray have 300MB of internal storage, now can u compare miro with them and say which is best...
I'm not saying that miro is not a good phone.
It is the best phone at this cost and also for basic using...
Compare the phones whose prices are approximately
equal.
Live is more expensive than miro.

It depends on u.....:-)
Miro has 800MHz processor...
U has 1GHz dual core processsor...
Miro has andreno 200 GPU,
U has mali-400 GPU.
(xperia u is best for gaming)
Miro doesn't have HD recording and many camera features...
Miro has low resolution display with poor pixel density and it is not a bravia engine display...
Where as xperia u has high resolution display with high pixel density and also has bravia engine display...
(images in 'xperia u' are sharp and it is the best).
Miro wont get jelly bean(5.0) update.
100% xperia U will get jelly bean update.
So what i say is, if u are a basic user,u can go to miro, it is a good phone.
My suggestion is go to "xperia u" if 6GB of memory is not a problem for you.
And regarding bravia engine display, this phone doesn't have bravia engine display, u can refer white paper of this phone or u can go sony official website and check...

dont worry about external storage on xperia U, xperia u support for usb to go . so u can store ur file to your Flash disk anywhere anytime

bcoz it has ice cream sandwich 4.0 OS
and has much bigger internal memory ie 4gb

Miro is betterFrom the numbering, U is ST25 while Miro is ST23.. So Xperia U is better than Miro.. Pixel density, clear bass and clear stereo, also 720p video recording is on xperia U. While low pixel density, just manual equalizer, VGA video recording is on Miro. What make xperia U lack is just expandable memory, and USB OTG is an answer. But it's all back on personal preferences.. I would choose xperia U all the way..

HVGA with 3.5" screen is a maximum.. Please SONY don't ever make bigger screen than this on HVGA resolution.. And make a HVGA as minimum standard resolution for your phone even on a lowend.. LOL at other brand..
