Jay, 24 Oct 2012don't go for xperia phones. Because sony phones always using boring lcd instead of amoled disp... moremobile bravia engine is the counterpart for amoled display.

1. We have to unlock the bootloader of your newly buyed phone (Which is currently not available for this phone).
for more informatoin go to http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
2 After unlocking the boot loader you can root your phone by easy root toolkit at xda-developers.com
3.If your phone gets rooted then you can install bravia engine in it and can also install xperia v , T apps in it alsi walkman player..

Although picture quality is fine yet not brilliant in flash mode capturing. Poor resulotion in low light picture. Not good engough without FM Radio. Secondary camera result is too weak being VGA. There is no zoom option while capturing pictures. However,design is quite fine, slim in shap and excellent result in outdoor pictures
