Tcool, 20 Mar 2013At least they could have made the bottom part to the minimum size.Which remote control uses aluminum? Plastic is what they use, that's what what you have, plastic.
soany xperia p is good to buy???? or any other choices??? please help me yaarrr....i am trouble in purchasing a phone....THANKS bro..........
Tcool, 20 Mar 2013Ok let's say the remote control of my portable DVD player. LOL!I don't know what kind of DVD player you have, but majority of DVD remote controllers are far more longer, and narrower then Xperia P (which is quite understandable considering the way you are holding remote, compared to holding smartphone), and as I said, Xperia P is not too much long compared to other smartphones.
I prefer Xperia P usability to HTC One S (I am using both) because there is physical border between screen and soft keys, so accidental pressing is minimal. When I use HTC One S virtual keyboard I often press 'Home' key instead of space because they are to close with no tactile feedback.
Using XP for past 6 months. Awesome phone. Decent battery with power saves apps. Love this phone!!!!
Hemma, 19 Mar 2013What should i go with?? Sony Xperia SL Or Sony Xperia P ?? Please suggest me Compare the specs then decide. You may not get any user experience answer here coz its unusual for people to get those two phones. You can read user review too.
Tcool, 19 Mar 2013I think this phone is too long that I mistake it for a TV remote control. LOL!
They should ... moreI think you haven't seen many smartphones (or TV remotes either).
Aspect ratio of Xperia P dimensions is about the same as majority of smartphones, and most of the TV remotes are far longer and narrower than any smartphone available.
The lower part is not intended for Xperia name to write on, down there are GSM/WiFi antennas (since Xperia P body is aluminium (hence doesn't allow EM radiation to go through), and it's still shorter and narrower then HTC One S for example (although it's a bit thicker).
sam, 19 Mar 2013how I can upgrade my Xperia PRegular updates if they are available:
1. On-The-Air from your smartphone
2. From PC through PC Companion or SonyUpdateService program
1. Using Flashtool program from xda-defvelopers forum (if you are advanced enough to know what you are doing)
Anonymous, 19 Mar 2013Can display full hd video? No it cannot display Full HD video for obvious reason (FullHD is 1920x1080 and Xperia P screeen is 960x540), but it can play Full HD movies downscaling them to native 960x540 resolution (but there is no much sense in it).
I think this phone is too long that I mistake it for a TV remote control. LOL!
They should have remove the bottom part and put the XPERIA name somewhere else. Or at least lessen the size of that area.
