Hello guys. I'm using my Xperia P for almost 2 months now and for me, this is a superb phone. But I noticed one small problem, I found that the LED lights in the capacitive buttons are not equal in color or intensity. Similar with this problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2077529
I want to know if you found this also in your Xperia P.

After flashing 6.1.1.B.1.75 update, my Xperia P runs smoooth and lasts longer than previous build. My Phone lasts for 24-36 hours with gaming, messaging, calls, music, and net surfing over wifi.
after a month of using sony xperia P or xP as id like t call it, i'd like to say that it's a very good phone. smooth interface, good audio output, good camera, clear screen and visible even at daylight with the whitemagic technology. although i bought it with ICS out of the box, i didn't have any problems with ICS. the one that annoyed me at start is the battery as it drains very fast. but after tinkering with the settings, the phone can last for more than 24 hours with regular use. on standby, it can last up to 3-4 days.
this phone is dependent on the settings if it runs on ICS especially in the developer options. smooth operation + good performance and specs makes it a very good phone, if you can't afford the xperia S. i'd rate it 4 out 5.
My Xperia P I'ts Very Good. And Be Perfect after Upgrade to 4.0.4. More Fast and Stable, and Fluid. Sorry Bad English. "Brasil é Nois."

mk, 26 Jan 2013hi,
I have a xperia p and have a stock android 2.3.7 installed.
does updating to never versi... moreOS update doesn't wipe your user data /sdcard folder on your disk, and if I recall correctly it doesn't wipe Your programs, but I sincerely recommend you to backup your phone, and install with formatting your phone, as this way you will be sure there will be no side-effect from update (battery draining, programs not starting or crashing, etc, that usually happens to folks who updated to ICS with bunch of garbage installed on GB).
Version showing in your notification is already 'old' ICS version, but you have to install it anyway, and eventually install newer versions (then there will be no need to install with formatting because it's same OS just different firmware).
Anonymous, 26 Jan 2013Thats weird. Sony is giving you a Samsung? No, it's not weird, it's weird that You don't read carefully. He said, 'provider' and as You might now Sony is still not into telecom provider business.
