AnonD-103557, 21 Jan 2013Oh Great This Phone should get AWARD for the 'fastest drying battery' in it. If anyone wants t... moreThere are four possible reasons for a smartphone to need 2-3 charges, a day:
- faulty battery or some other hardware related problem. (possible but not likely)
- incorectly formated battery calibration file (happens often when user doesn't charge-discharge phone properly after major upfate)
- some background process is, unnecessarily, draining battery (also happens after major updates without cean install or when lots of bloatware programs are installed)
- overusing the smartphone (there are just a couple smartphones able to give 8-10 hrs of heavy use, but they are twice expensive then Xperia P)
AnonD-85430, 21 Jan 2013There is a sticker ice cream android logo on the boxYou heard wrong, firmware versions are the same on user updated, and on factory installed smartphones. The only possible reason for different behave is different firmware versions.
So, to clear it, if you buy smartphone with ICS in-the-box, it's very likely you will get older firmware ICS version (without camera bug, but with some others), and if you upgrade previously bought Xperia, you will get newer firmware (with camera bug, and solved some old bugs)
If you get these two smartphones and update them to same version you will have same bugs.
