hi....im really new to sony fones and to be honest im not a good technical person.can sumone help me by answering a few questions?i just got a sony xperia p phone.n i wold like to knw how to make video calls on it?
Been using this phone for three months and it's very nice, the only thing that bothers me is the battery life. Good thing it comes with a very fast charger. But I'm still hoping that the battery life can be even better when JB comes. Internet browsing is smooth, as long as wifi has strong signal. Go Sony! I believe that you can still bring better updates. =)
milan, 20 Dec 2012is there MHL support? No, there are separate micro-HDMI and micro-USB sockets. See pictures. micro-USB supports OTG.

AnonD-91033, 19 Dec 2012How come we don't need Antivirus if we are using emails and browsing internet? At present we don't need antivirus on androids because there are solid evidence of viruses that is existing on this platform. I'm talking about virus that is intentionally created to destroy software. Glitch are glitch, it's just a malfunctioning software that interfere with the system. It's not a virus. Android is still new in computing world. But someday we will need antivirus
AnonD-91033, 19 Dec 2012How come we don't need Antivirus if we are using emails and browsing internet?Well, for a start, PC-based viruses, worms, malwares, etc. doesn't work on smartphone.
Android smartphones are un-rooted by default, meaning no user program can obtain 'root' privilege to be able to infect your system.
You can infect your smartphone with android based virus only if you install program from unauthorized source (yes, you can infect it by installing from legal store, but these programs are usually found and removed by Google), but it's not likely that your phone will get infected easily this way.
Finally, anti-virus program runs in background 'eating' CPU cycles and, more importantly, draining battery, just for nothing. It's just marketing of anti-virus producing companies that make you install this peace of junk on your phone.

SHAQ, 18 Dec 2012i did not get smart tags for my P which i bought on 18/12/12. is it normal? Yes, only selected stores issue those as give aways. Some got leather case, Smart watch voucher worth $10, Smart tags, and rubber case plus extra screen protector. Some have no give aways at all. It depends on what country and store maybe.
I have this phone and the unic bad side is the battery life, its around 5 hours in use and all the day only for SMS and Calls
But its amazing i love it so much
