In your case, your country is probably not supported.
Beside, what kind of masochist you are if you desperately want to install app with such low rate (1,4) with 2.500 one-star votes out of 2.800 voted users. :-)
Xloud, a sony option says it makes audio louder...to me it seems to distort, and this is noticable on ringtones. Turn it off, and audio, although not so loud is clear. Speaker is quite loud, side mounted too...good enough...unlike say original htc desire you could never hear.
faysal, 28 Nov 2012It's great but poor batter life. What battery life would you consider not poor, and can You name few smartphones that qualify as 'good battery' in your opinion?!
Sean, 28 Nov 2012The Samsung is not pentile display and it uses 800x480. Get your facts right before posting. His facts are right, but don't read everything literally. Galaxy S Advance have SuperAMOLED screen technology which uses pentile-matrix pixel patter, this is the fact, and it can be checked here on GSMArena.
He didn't said that Galaxy S Advance is not 800x480 screen resolution, he just said 'its like using a 640x360 Nokia phone', meaning, small letters (when using small zoom) show rough edges, which makes letters difficult to read, same as if it was standard matrix display with smaller resolution.

Anonymous, 28 Nov 2012How to use the landscape mode permanently even in the homescreen. By installing some third party launcher (Nova for instance). Stock launcher doesn't support landscape except when on charger (probably to support using smartphone in car while driving with GPS).
eroticpunk, 28 Nov 2012only 11gb is accessible,,,and battery life is shit..,Yes, 'only' 11 GB is available from 16 GB, 2GB goes for Application storage, and the rest 3 GB for Android. Sames is with any other Android device with 16 GB memory, and it's quite enough if You understand that smartphone is not meant to replace your PC and hold any information you will ever need.
I still got 40% free space (5 Gb), and sometimes I find some app, or some data I never used, image how bloated are devices with 32 GB storage.
Battery lasts average for it's class (for those that doesn't have specific problems with battery, mainly because improper first charges procedure), and last 10-15% of capacity will give you double stand-by time compared to some better battery specd smartphone.
plz frndz tell me if music volume via loudspeaker is too low,as mentioned in gsmarena below average loudspeaker performance??

Galaxy Advance is a stupid decision.
1. Way less RAM.
2. Doesn't do or play 1080p videos.
3. Design super sucks.
4. Pentile matrix display (its like using a 640x360 Nokia phone)
5. Hideous UI.
6. Will NEVER get jellybean.
Xperia P cons doesn't count much. Crying for battery on a android phone is stupid. Use pen drive for keeping movies (As p has otg support). Its superior whitemagic display of 960x540 resolution is ultra sharp. The lag you mentioned is because of gingerbread. Search 'Xperia P ICS' on YouTube and watch the video by the guy name something like 'gametechguy'.... Forgot the exact name.....but its the best demonstration.
Xperia P users, if your phone's battery drains fast after updating to ICS even in standby?
Do the following steps to improve the battery backup time...
1) Charge you phone till 100%
2) Switch of your phone (with charger on). Now, from the battery image/bar on phone's screen, you will see the battery is not fully charged.
3) Leave it for charging till its charged full (Will take around 15mins).
4) Turn your phone ON and start using it. Just make sure that the phone's battery does not drains below 25%. Repeat steps, if it drained below 25%
Hope this helps....
I tried these steps. Now my phone's battery backup time improved a lot and better than gingerbread.
I did got 3 to 4 days of standby with occasional calls.
