For all of you having problems with battery consumption after ICS upgrade, make repair in PC Companion (backup important data because it will be wiped).
Battery consumption in ICS is much better then in GB, in standby you will get 1% of battery every 5 hours. In web browsing you will have 25% more capacity to spend.
All of you who don't see ICS update i PC Companion can do manual upgrade following xda-developers forum directions. This happens because official update will reach you when authorized from your mobile operator.
To have trouble free operation after upgrade wipe all data (sdcard won't be erased)
Does XPERIA P needs an initial charge? Please reply as soon as possible. Thanks

Xperia P wih ICS have much better power saving implementation then GB version.
Let just say that stock ICS with no power saving programs (like Juice Defender or Battery Booster) installed have better battery consumption in idle (graph is almost flat horizontal line).
While browsing the web with Wi-Fi and constantly powered display it takes about 5:50 to drain the battery, one hour more then with GB, and very close to iPhone 4.

Xperia P with ICS should have very low consumption in idle mode 2-3 % in a couple hours.
Get it repaired in PC Companion (backup your data and write down installed programs). Basicly it's reinstalling of OS. Problems usually arises when upgrading without wiping installed programs.
How long the initial charge after it drained? Please reply to this as soon as possible. Thanks!
