GSMarena Xperia P review (yes the vids are always on youtube before the writeup is ready)
I am thinking of getting this phone and also buying an external USB battery pack. Probably get one about 6000mAh size (which ends up being about the same size as the phone. That will hold 4.5 complete phone charges.
That easily covers me for long travel (flights and bus trips etc).
Anyone using an external battery with the Xperia P at the moment.

Anonymous, 30 May 2012Im using a samsung galaxy 2...firstly it has a bigger screen so it gives a better hold and fee... moreThis is because you haven't checked the amazing Sony xperia s screen, if you had then you well easily notice that it's the best scrren out there ( at least for now)!
With all it's very nice specs i was going to buy this one. Except when i noticed there is NO slot for a memory card. That was a MAJOR downer. Won't buy this one. The internal memory is not big enough. Almost. But not quite.
but its whitepaper says it has a adreno 205 gpu ...not a nail 400gpu...
hi friends, first think i want to say about inbuilt battary that's not good beause u don't have option to change it when it's got weak or hang and second think it has adreno 205 not maali 400.better to go for live walkman WT19i.

Can the battery be replaced by the Sony service center? Or the mobile is dead once the battery is dead?
Sony provide good mobiles with excellent features but some drawbacks like memory card slot, front cam. why sony?
Anonymous, 30 May 2012Im using a samsung galaxy 2...firstly it has a bigger screen so it gives a better hold and fee... moreThis is the mid range phone. Bit of a silly comparison. Now if you compared the Xperia S to the S2...or 3, then the Xperia S would win. Its the first fully decent smart phone of this generation to have a 12megapixel camera and the first smart phone to be HD everywhere. Its also got more Pixel density aaand looks much sexier. Its even got a Bravia TV engine in the screen. The Amoled screen makes colours look unnatural but yes, very bright. Ive seem pictures on many of my friends phoned with radioactive grass lol.
For a mid ranged phone at £20-£25pm is incredible.
